The majority of the properties in the Winter Park area do not have A/C due to the cooler climate. The resort base closes during the off seasons in the spring and fall but the downtown area remains open year round. A great escape

We had a great time disconnecting from the world and reconnecting with each other at the Chalet. The views are spectacular (especially at sunrise), the home is beautifully done and has everything you'd need for a special family excursion. The management company was also a pleasure to work with and was very responsive to any needs we had during our stay.

Amazing view and privacy

Great private location that is still plenty close to town. The views from the deck are hard to beat. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. Be prepared for a workout with all the stairs to get to top floor, but totally worth it! You can’t go wrong w this house.

Our stay was amazing. Highly recommended home with priceless views, comfortable furnishings, and one of the best bathrooms in a rental I have every stayed in. Be aware there are 76 steps from the garage to the top floor, but so totally worth every one of them. The view, the waterfall tub, steam shower, and the hot tub will help you forget about the steps!

Traveled with family in late May. This property is phenomenal!!! Fantastic location away from the crowds. Beautiful view looking out over snow covered mountains. Hiked from the house and saw Moose and Elk. The house was fully equipped with everything you need and more. Thanks for renting this great property!

Get Close to Nature

My family and I had such a wonderful stay at Cliff Side Luxury Mountain Chalet! The views were just as beautiful if not MORE than they were in the pictures. I would advise that with the altitude and the plethora of stairs, you take your time going up and down the stairs. We had our parents stay in the room closest to the kitchen so they wouldn't need to go up and down as many stairs. Overall, a wonderful stay, everyone in my family loved it.

Hot Tub Cliff Side Luxury Mountain Chalet

We loved the house, it would have been nice to have a fire pit outside. Also, while cooking the fire alarm went off due to smoke even though the hood was on. It was really loud and lasted for about 45 minutes to an hour before someone came to turn it off. It would have also been nice to have a second TV on the main level.

Beautiful home with amazing views

This cliff side home is truly a one of a kind with incredible views. The home was well stocked with anything you may need. The stairs can definitely be challenging when carrying bags or groceries but totally worth it for the view. My only complaint is the timeliness of repairs/service request. One of the two showers didn't have hot water. Management was notified immediately after arrival and it took three days to have it fixed. One shower and ten guest can be frustrating. Other then this issue, the house is a must see.

Fun-filled Family Getaway

We (5 adults, a 6 year old, and 1 year old infant) had a great time in the chalet. The views are spectacular and the amenities in the home were perfect. We did have to watch the infant pretty closely as the home has lots of stairs and isn’t necessarily set up for a toddler but were able to make it work just fine. We had a little issue with a power outage (triggered the burglar alarm) but winter park escapes was very prompt and helpful. As others have noted, there are lots (LOTS) of steps to get to the main living area. Those of us coming from sea level were really huffing and puffing bringing up our luggage and groceries. But, the sacrifice yields incredible views as you see in the pictures.

Unique Home with Amazing Views

Excellent views, quiet, perfect spot to see the Milky Way, lovely kitchen. Definitely lots of stairs, but worth it for the views. Winter park is an easy drive, but no need to when you have a well stocked kitchen.

Beautiful property -but lots of steps great property manager

We toured this property when we arrived, but due to an injury of one in our party, the layout was not suitable for us. It’s a beautiful property with fabulous views and many nice features. But the main living area is at the top and it is a lot of steps. We ended up not staying here, but the property manager, Daniel, managed to secure another more suitable property for us on the spot and on the 4h of July weekend. For this, we were extremely grateful and had a nice stay at the other house.

Literally Breathtaking

The owners of this home have figured out the ingredients for a good life and are kind enough to share it-we couldn’t be more grateful. The location, the view and the attention to detail and comfort in this home made this the trip of a lifetime. Traveling from the east coast, our original lodging in another town canceled on us 36 hours before our flight west. This house and our experience with Winter Park Escapes made us feel like everything must happen for a reason. The super quick communication and booking process made a tough time turn into a dream. There’s no review or amount of photos that can justify the beauty of this home. From the balconies, the huge beautiful windows in every room, the extremely thoughtful lighting, super comfortable furniture and amazing blankets, the master bathroom!!! the excellent coffee and espresso machines, the sound of the creek at night and the hot tub under the stars-this home wants for literally nothing. The location can’t be beat-the drive up to the house is beautiful, and we spent days in RMNP, went boating on the lakes, and caught a show at Red Rocks. Our tween/teens were thrilled with this vacation and my boys were super appreciative that the owner even shared his beautiful guitars. Truly a bucket list trip and we’re very grateful to the owners for sharing this piece of heaven with us. Thanks to the adorable marmot family that lives behind the home also!! We had a blast and if we’re ever in Colorado again we’ll be sure to stay here.

This cliffside chalet was amazing! We loved the views and the space! It was a great vacation spot for our family! It was kept very clean and the top floor kitchen and living room space was great for our family to enjoy each other after returning from the slopes! Look forward to doing it again!
