Lovely cottage

We are fussy guests, but this definitely passed. Comfy beds, kitchen well equipped, nice furnishing, very comfortable place to be overall. Close to beach, good views, would happily stay here again.

Great location

With the lake open this was a perfect place to stay as there were great swimming opportunities just across the road. The accomodation and facilities were great. Steep stairs maybe difficult for some. Culburra Beach and surrounds we’re lovely.

Dream location

Great beach house, pet friendly.

House was great, warm outdoor shower was a bonus. Huge yard although mostly unfenced. Huge front deck with great views and back deck more than doubled the living area.

House was well-equipped, with bbq area and a large yard for the kids to play in. However, overall cleanliness could have been better. The bathroom had an unpleasant odour, particularly near the toilet pan, and did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned. Floor (vinyl) throughout the house also had not been thoroughly cleaned. House had a mouldy / musky smell that was quite powerful.

Cleanliness concerns and odours are matters that must be reported immediately on arrival so they can be inspected and rectified during the stay. Our terms require guests to notify us on the day an issue is identified to allow us the opportunity to address it in-house. Issues raised after departure cannot be verified or resolved at the time. As outlined in our booking terms, while properties are professionally cleaned between stays, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of residual odours, dust, or environmental factors, particularly in coastal homes where humidity can contribute to musty smells. Your comments have been noted for internal review. If a higher level of presentation or hotel-style cleaning standards are essential, we recommend selecting accommodation that explicitly advertises premium servicing or daily housekeeping for future stays.

Great stay

House is in a great location. Fabulous example of a beach house with an upgraded kitchen. Very happy with the pantry items which were provided.My wife would have liked a hair dryer. Another power point in the bedroom to avoid several powerboardds would be good

We enjoyed our stay, it was short but sweet. The location was perfect, just a walk away from the beach and close proximity to local shops and cafes. The house was in a quiet and safe area, and we enjoyed sitting on the front balcony the with view of Lake Culburra. Our only complaint would be having the bathroom and the only toilet downstairs. And we found the backyard and outside area not very user friendly. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was clean and well equipped for a family.
