Lovely 3 bedroom / 2 bath home features Ocean Views and direct access to the 1st tee / clubhouse of Fairwinds Golf Course. This quiet and private retreat is available for extended vacation / snowbirds to enjoy the WestCoast lifestyle. You will spend much of your time in the large family room with gas fireplace, adjacent to the open plan kitchen and dining area. These flow onto the huge sundeck for an indoor / outdoor living experience that feeds the soul. The large living room with 2nd gas fireplace, is a bonus that can also be used as a 4th bedroom. This space has a 90 day minimum.

A five minute walk to Brickyards Community waterfront park to get your feet wet, or go for an Ocean swim. The Schooner Cove Marina is a very short drive where you can enjoy a delicious meal at the new Nanoose Bay Cafe.

Full grocery and liquor store service is a 15 minute drive, or enjoy visiting the nearby communities of Parksville or Nanaimo for a more urban experience.

If walking / hiking is your pleasure, there are lots of great local walks and easy hikes available, including roaming the huge beaches in Rathtrevor Provincial Park, of Parksville.

Skiing is available a 90 minute drive away on the slopes of Mt. Washington. Go on a fishing or Whale watching charter out of Nanaimo harbour, or rent a sea kayak at the marina in the summer months.

Very nice area near the golf club and very peaceful, with a view of the sea from the dining are/lounge/kitchen/patio. Property had large rooms all on one floor, so no need to carry heavy suitcases up stairs. Everything provided in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. We had a great stay there and would recommend the Rusted Rake restaurant/brewery, about 7 km from the property.

Beautiful home with an amazing location. It was the perfect place for our family, including our 9 month old baby. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything you could need for cooking, and the deck was huge with an amazing view. 5 minute walk down to the ocean!

Good space for multi-generational family gathering

Great space for grandparents through to grandkids. Beautiful view, spacious house, comfortable. Great deck and loved the propane fire at night. Could use a few more dishes and cutlery.

This was a vacation for extended family. We had a wonderful experience in Nanoose Bay. We thoroughly appreciated having so much space to spread out. The outdoor areas and views were very inspiring. The children loved adventuring in the yard. The proximity to the ocean was another fabulous feature. Although this is an older home, the inside of the house was spotlessly clean and tidy.

Beautiful home. Spectacular View

What a lovely home in such a quiet neighborhood. There is everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked. The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The deck is the highlight. Lots of seating and a beautiful view. It was my pleasure spend time here and will definitely rent again on my next visit to the Island

Relaxing stay at Nanoose Bay

Really loved the place. First of all, the location was great with a nice view of the ocean, the golf course just out of the property and yet the trail there was completely concealed so there was no disturbance to privacy. Second, the amenities were great, all necessary furniture inside and outside, all the kitchen appliances and everything. The patio is large and is very good for a fun barbecue dinner with family and friends. We really loved the place.

This is a great property in a very nice, quiet neighbourhood. We had daily visits from the resident deer, regular eagle flyovers and even a raccoon sighting. The views from the house are amazing. If golf is your jam, you are steps away from the first tee box and clubhouse. Highly recommend this property.

Better than Advertised

The location was very private and close to the water which was perfect for us. We were very close to great experiences at the Rusted Rake Brewery ( try the Spruce Tip ale) and the Nanoose Bay Cafe. The owner ensured that all the basics were available at the home - spices, toiletries, appliances, and even a Bluetooth speaker. This was over and above any other property we have stayed at. Kudos. Would return.

Wonderful stay in Nanoose Bay.

This property was a wonderful place for our family vacation. It is immaculate in cleanliness and super stocked for basic supplies. Oceanview- great, wrap around deck- fabulous. Neighborhood is a lovely area and a 5minute walk to a cute little park. Host was available for any questions.Hope we can rent again!

So thankful

We needed accommodation that would suit a family with members ranging from 12 to 82, and a dog. This house was what we needed. As a bonus the view, location and neighbourhood were fantastic. The hosts were really helpful.
