Located on the north side of Cascade Head on a ridge overlooking the ocean, this modern, light-filled home will lend splendor and beauty to your next stay on the Oregon Coast. With stupendous views of Haystack Rock to the north, this home also looks down on the top of Proposal Rock and to the surf below the cliff. You’ll enjoy views from every window, and your breathtaking perch on the home’s many decks will fill your senses with the beauty of the sea. Wonderfully appointed with luxurious detail, custom finishes and sumptuous bedding, this home will delight your most discriminating guest. From the second-floor queen bedrooms, which share a spa-like bathroom, guests will enjoy ocean views and their own bonus room with sectionals, a TV, and an outdoor gas fireplace on the entry porch.

The living room in the stunning third-floor great room is divided into two spaces, one for enjoying the TV and sound bar in front of the gas fire, and one for drinking in the spectacular view through numerous large windows. The views extend to the dining area and even the kitchen, with its black stainless-steel appliances, silky countertops, breakfast bar and gas range. A deck with unobstructed views is perfect for whale-watching and sighting sea lions and seabirds in the surf. Quiet, peaceful, excellent location

This property is in a very low key, quiet, higher end neighborhood. Beautiful views. No beach access and not super walkable but a wonderful house nonetheless. Quick drive to the beach, cafe, and walking paths. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay on the Oregon Coast!

This property was ideal for our family visit to the Oregon Coast. The home is as pictured, the views are breath-taking, and the neighborhood is a peaceful escape. Management was prompt in responses throughout the process. Would highly recommend!

Consistently excellent

Second time staying with my family, each time a year apart. Beautiful, cozy, CLEAN and the views each morning were breathtaking. Such an inviting and comfortable home that is well maintained. Great location close to points of interest and you can have a great road hike for exercise in the neighborhood. The owners keep a high standard of accommodation. We are already planning our third trip!

Safe In A Tsunami

This hilltop house has ocean views from nearly every room, which is lovely. The main floor of the home is on the 3rd level, so best suited for guests able to climb 3 flights of stairs often. There are very few window treatments to obscure views, so shy guests will want to be prepared for this. Neskowin has always been one of our favorite places to stay on the coast, quiet and gorgeous.

Beautiful View

View is the reason to stay. Stairs were harsh for our adult knees, just FYI for others. The sheets on the bed weren't clean on 2 of the 3 beds. They smelled and were covered in long black hair so wr had to change them. In doing so, got in the dryer and found wet moldy smelling towels that we had to rewash for them.

Beautiful home-lots of stairs

This was beautiful home, you may want to note that it is 2 stories so there is quite a few stairs to get anywhere. Main bedroom was on main level and other two rooms were on the second floor. No direct access to backyard have to walk around the house to get to the back made it hard with dogs. Also check out is required by 10am in the last day and you are required to start laundry and the dishwasher, felt as if we were robbed of the last day of our vacation having to be out so early at 10am. Kitchen was minimally stocked, but worked for our current needs for that weekend. Items were not fully stocked as listed, but that’s OK. Overall, an amazing view and stay.

You’re paying for luxurious views… not luxurious hospitality. UNCLEAN: We arrived to a moldy shower curtain, garbage behind a bathroom door, and general uncleanliness (hairy windowsills, for example). A screen was pressed out of a bedroom window and the coffee pot didn’t work due to needing to be cleaned (Meredith Lodging did provide us with a different coffee pot later in the day). Meredith Lodging never responded when we alerted them to the uncleanliness of this unit. POOR COMMUNICATION: Weeks in advance of our trip, we inquired if there was a Pack N Play onsite. Meredith Lodging said there was not and to pack or rent all items we needed for our toddler. We spent hundreds of dollars renting a crib, high chair and baby gate only to find a Pack N Play and High Chair in the unit. When we notified Meredith Lodging of this, asking them to update their records so other parents wouldn’t incur the same financial burden in the future, they never responded. The home itself has a beautiful view and is in working order. The layout is not what you might expect from the photos. PLUS SIDES: You are a 1 minute drive from a private beach! You have private access to the Hart’s Cove hiking trail in the Siuslaw National Forest! There are no properties behind the unit, so you have a beautiful view of the trees on the hillside. *Note: we have years of experience in vacation rental management and do not mean to criticize the house cleaners themselves but rather the folks behind the desk

No privacy

Most things were great with the exception of no window coverings on some of the windows in the primary bedroom. There was also a mirror placed on the wall which reflected into the neighbors house which was very disturbing and made it very difficult to sleep comfortably. There are also no coverings on the living room windows so neighbors could see everything after dark. Otherwise, everything else was great. Kitchen was stocked fully and I really appreciated the extra blankets that were provided. I probably would not return only because of the lack of privacy.

Needing my ID

I completely under why you would be asking for a copy of my ID but that should happen when you book the property but I wasn’t asked at the time. Do NOT call me at 10:30pm and leave voicemail about sending security to the house. And then send me a text message from a random number asking for a picture of my ID. No one in their right mind should be texting their ID back to that number. I should have received a phone call prior to my check in time that I missed a step and could have taken care of it before having access to the property. It was very unprofessional.

Great property…bad experience

I stayed at this property with 2 adult family members for 7 nights. Location and property were great. However, after a couple of nights I woke up with a bunch of bug/spider bits all over my arms. I looked for bed bugs, but didn’t see any…however when I looked at the ceiling, it was full of small spiders. I took pictures and a video of the bites on my arms and of the spiders in the room and sent to the property manager. I was told someone will come out and take care of the spiders but no one ever came. We left the house today and I had more bites on my neck and arms. Will never stay at this property or this property management company again. I’d be furious if I was the property owner. It’s a shame.

Truly NeskoWINNING!

We found this wonderful rental for a weekend getaway with my family and friends and the pictures barely did it justice! The views are terrific with both the national forest behind and the cliff to the ocean in front. It’s a quiet neighborhood except for the laughter and giggling with our children running around inside. The small town of Neskowin has nearly all you need for a quick market, sandwiches, or coffee, and your only about 15 minutes from busy Lincoln City to the south or Pacific City to the north for anything more you may need. Would definitely recommend this location again!

Tight for 6 Adults

The area is beautiful. The views are breathtaking. The house is newer and nicely appointed. As other reviews have indicated, there is not an abundance of “extras” in the kitchen. We were surprised by the lower quality/condition of basic pans and utensils compared to other places we have stayed for less the price. The house can definitely sleep 3 couples however the bathroom, kitchen and dining are really more suitable for 2 couples. There is literally no place to seat 6 people for a meal. There are not many options for dining out so the lack of space in the kitchen is kind of a big deal. There is a second living space on the first floor where the two secondary bedrooms are so that helps provide a bit more room. Also the lawn is not kept up and is full of weeds. This bothered us a bit as we were there over a week and spend a lot of time outside walking. It was a bit of a let down to enter the “weedy” property. Most lots in the area aren’t overly landscaped but they aren’t full of dandelion either. We were missing some basics like iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Some things were brought within 48 hours. We ended up buying our own ironing board after 3 days of waiting. These are just a few examples. I will make a list of suggestions to the management company. I hope they will make them. “As is” I don’t think it warrants the price they are asking which is why I gave it an ok/rating. If you don’t care about the issues and are all about the views then you will be fine with this property.

Relaxation at the OR Central Coast

We stayed for 3 nights. The property is as described on the listing. The neighborhood is very quiet, access to the coast is right down the road....short drive. We didn't get a response to our email questions, but texts were returned quickly. The home is in great shape and plenty of towels, TP etc....just a bit lacking on plates. The only things we saw damaged: 2nd floor bath towel rack was barely hanging on, one 2nd floor bed door was cracked, and a master window was cracked. Biggest thing was that the 2nd floor porch exterior door handle is messed up (if you shut the door completely you can't go back inside even if it's unlocked, have to leave it ajar). NOTE: there are no blinds or curtains in the home, so that's something to consider if you're shy. ;) The view of the trees behind and to the coast in front is gorgeous, and the home is very nice. All the beds were very comfortable, cable and wifi worked well. Most importantly, the home was very clean. Overall a great stay, wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful house, but needs some added amenities

Overall I was pleased with this absolutely beautiful newer house, with a great view of the ocean. On the surface, it's a great house with an unbeatable view. The only reason I can't give it a perfect rating is because it's lacking a few notable amenities. The first surprise I had was that there was a Keurig coffee pot (not noted in listing) while I'd brought my own coffee and filters. Keurigs are nice and all, but if that's all you're going to have you need to put it in your listing and/or have an ample supply of pods available. I had to make a 14 mile roundtrip drive in to Lincoln City to get some. Kitchen is a bit sparse as well. No kettle, so no way to heat water outside of the microwave or stove top (for making tea, etc). Another thing to note is there are almost no window coverings in the home, making it pretty difficult to avoid the afternoon sun blaring in on you and in the evening you sort of feel like you're in an exposed fishbowl for all the neighbors. Finally, the owners make it a point to please remove your shoes. I understand that. The problem is that housekeeping apparently waxes or otherwise polishes the wood floors when cleaning, which makes them incredibly slippery if you're wearing socks. I took two nasty spills flat on to my back as a result. So definitely stick to bare feet, or at the very least indoor slippers with traction soles.
