Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters.
Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Whether you wish to spend your time with us on the go or taking it slow, you’re sure to enjoy your new Memories at the Speed of Old Florida.

Dream Spring Break with the Family!

Our family chose Palm Island Resort for a last minute Spring Break trip and we couldn't have been happier. The unit was very well maintained, clean, and functional, plus it had gorgeous views of the uncrowded beach and sunsets. It was our first VRBO ever and we absolutely loved the experience!

Pool was still damaged from the hurricanes but they communicated that in advance. It was the first time we saw a sea turtle come on the beach to lay her eggs...fabulous!

OUR FAVORITE FLORIDA GETAWAY

Reviewer Comments: For us Floridians, there is no better escape than Palm Island. We live in an extremely touristy area of Florida on the Gulf of Mexico coast in Pinellas County. It's always very busy. This is the opposite! My husband gets his fishing fix in and we both thoroughly enjoy the quiet Old Florida ambiance. Since the hurricanes, most of the properties have been upgraded which is an added benefit. We love exploring in golf carts and walking the extremely quiet beaches. Rum Bay has great food and excellent service.

It was well equipped for our family with a well stocked kitchen and beautiful view of the ocean. We loved watching the sunset from the porch and also loved having what was basically our own private beach! We would love to come again! The condo was well cleaned upon arrival and we had so much fun playing the games that were there and coloring with the kid’s coloring supplies that were provided!

Sister's Getaway For a Birthday Celebration

Everyone was helpful and very nice. The villa was very clean and perfect for the 4 of us. We arrived to a very nice Birthday basket for my sister whom we were celebrating her 60th birthday. This was such an added surprise. We enjoyed the pool area and beach daily. We just had the best time and we thank everyone at the Resort for helping make our stay so amazing and memory making.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Palm Island is our family’s favorite place to go relax, enjoy family time & the beach. This unit is nicely decorated & updated. The location was great at the end of the resort. We like quiet and peaceful settings. Beautiful ocean views from the porch & bedroom. One problem we had was the kitchen was very disorganized & items were put away with food still on plates, bowls & pans. We told the front office and they came and wiped the counters. The entire kitchen needs to be clean down the the sticky drawer handles ( which we did mention to the office). Every time we cooked we had to clean what we used. The rest of the condo was clean.Hannah at the front desk was very sweet & helpful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A good multi generational vacation. A couple of the condos need some updating. Also, please be careful to reserve all condos together. Although noted on all reservations, one condo was moved far away from the others when owners decided to use their condo. It really was inconvenient after spending time to research the best location for the large family 6 months in advance. Every time I called the management office and promising to note the condos were for a family, they acted as if they had never heard this. It was a good holiday, great resort, and a place where Floridians vacation.

BEST VACAY EVER!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was perfect really, especially for a family with kids! Everything was so clean, convenient, and I think remodeled. The island is so quiet and private! Even items I forgot at home were included for use to use at the house. We have 3 littles, so they absolutely loved the ferry ride. Just don’t forget groceries right there at the Publix before you get on the ferry. We really enjoyed the restaurants, Beach Road Wine & Bistro and Farlow’s, but we did have to get off the island to get to them. That was perfectly fine and almost part of the experience. I cannot imagine not having a golf cart on the island; we loved it and went for a ride each morning and evening. Normally, we stay in busy areas, so if you like to shop, visit the outlets around Bradenton before coming. They were great, and we ate at Peach’s for breakfast! One of the best breakfasts I have ever had! That was on our way down from Georgia. The only thing that was annoying were the mosquitoes. Like I said, we are from Georgia and are completely used to mosquitoes, but the FL ones chase you...really! Kind of funny but don’t forget bug spray. The screen porch on the back was a lifesaver! Lastly, I loved the beach, lounging chairs. They were right on the beach, which is incredibly close. I would book here every year, but we were about 9 hours away, so the drive was a little much for us. You won’t regret staying here! Book now!

We were right in the beach to see wonderful sunsets. Had a great condo, with all the space and amenities we needed. The food at Rum Bay was to die for. Everyone should have their yellowfin tuna steak as it is the best I have ever tasted. The pool was perfect and our time at Palm Island was amazing and the staff was wonderful. I would like to plan every year to come down and enjoy this wonderful place!!!

Palm Island Getaway.

We come here to unwind and relax. The resort meets all these needs. Walk on the beach, read a book by the pool, relax with a cocktail on the balcony and watch the sun set into the Gulf.
