Ubicado en Palm Island Resort en la costa suroeste del golfo de Florida. No existen puentes o calzadas a la isla, lo que garantiza un ambiente de vacaciones tropicales relajado.

Beautiful villa, great employees, beach and pool. We love seeing Dan (bellman), Marty in the office and Dustin at Coconuts. Dustin was so helpful and courteous. We can’t wait to go back. LOVE this place.

It had perfect beach finishes, was clean, and stocked with everything you might want for your beach vacation. The staff was well prepared, friendly, and helpful. The screened in porch provided a nice view of the beach that was enjoyed by all. The resort was peaceful and simply beautiful. We enjoyed “shelling” on the beach, fishing, swimming, and wildlife viewing. One of the best vacations we’ve had and we can’t wait to return.

The beach and the natural state gave me hope!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the beach. We loved that the outside lighting was a low orange-yellow color to protect bugs and turtles and a create a dark sky. We loved that there was the beginning of a nesting colony on a section of the beach. It was roped off to protect ande encourage the nesting. All things that gave me hope that this location is being protected by environmental stewards rather than real estate developers. It is a beautiful piece of shoreline that has been preserved. We were there on a quiet week and often there were only a few other people to be seen. The pool was near our unit well kept and a great temperature and again we mostly had it to ourselves.

Summer 2018 Vacation

Reviewer Comments: Upon check in on Friday, while loading our refrigerator with over $600 worth of groceries the water filter cracked and flooded the kitchen and refrigerator. The water continued to pour out until we found the shut off. Water line had to be shut off so they compensated us with ice for free all weekend, GREAT!!! The next day when we went to make eggs we could not, the fridge had frozen 80% of our food! $150 credit to our account from resort. Woke up one morning and golf cart was stolen! If we had not been coming here and LOVING PI for 28 years this would have been VERY disappointing. In the end we LOVE PI and will be back next year.

A well kept secret

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although Floridian residents (east coast) we were not aware of the hidden secret of Pine Island Resort in Cape Haze. Staying the week before busy Memorial Day weekend, we virtually had the entire beach to ourselves. And what a beach it was! Gorgeous, crystal clear water and beautiful white sand. Our condo was very well appointed with everything you would need for an extended visit (got plenty of use from the Ninja with frozen cocktails!) Although the ice machine was on the blink, management quickly supplied us with plenty of ice and sent a maintenance man to investigate. All the staff were most friendly and accommodating to our wishes. Had dauphin chase our complimentary water taxi coming from Leverocks restaurant; enjoyed appetizers and drinks on Island Appreciation Night at Rum Runners; tennis, pools, workout room and long beach walks. Our unit was a home away from home with gorgeous sunsets from our screened porch overlooking the gulf. I would suggest others to go there as well, but I don't want to give away the "secret."

It was like we were staying in a hotel room! Only draw back was the master room was in the front of villa and the lights from the pouch were not able to be turned off. The bedroom was not dark at night and the blinds let a lot of the light into the bedroom. I would have preferred the master bedroom to be in the back of the villa overlooking the ocean.

The accommodations were terrific, the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms were like new and very modern. Palm Island is quaint, quiet, and very conducive to a laid back, relaxing stay.The food and atmosphere at the local restaurant were also terrific We definitely will return.

Relaxing week

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fourth time in the island, but the first time in this unit. The unit is nice and is as clean as the housekeeping staff is able to get it. This unit needs new living room furniture and the carpet needs deep cleaning to remove odor. The vacuum in the unit and the carpeting has a strong odor of a pet. The housekeeping staff we're wonderful and removed as much of it as possible when we requested it. We will stay in another unit next time, and will pass this one up if it is the last unit on the island, unless the owners are willing to remove the odor.

Our first visit was when my oldest was about 10. She chose to go on a family vacation her senior year. When asked where all 3 kids wanted to go for Spring break, they all agreed it was here! My kids are currently 15, 19 and 21.

July Palm Island Resort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Initially I was concerned, we had never stayed on the Island before and were not familiar with the directions. We didn't recieve any specific directions to find the boat dock to dock our boat. There was only one bellman on duty to transport all guest checking in and their copious amounts of luggage and food so it took longer than I would have liked. With this first part of our experience aside our condo was lovely, the beds very comfortable, the resort clean and staff very friendly. I would reccommend you bring your own garbage bags, we ran out quickly.

Palm Island Resort - gorgeous SW FL getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family loves Palm Island Resort. We've stayed on the property in various condos multiple times and have loved every minute. Each condo is decorated in unique way (no cookie-cutter chain hotel decor, here), but all have amenities in common: washer/dryer, dishwasher, full refrigerator, fully equipped kitchen, etc. When you open the door for the first time, the condo feels exactly like you'd want your own holiday condo to feel: clean, well-decorated, and useful. I'd recommend this property to anyone at any price point, from the casual middle class family to an upper middle class group looking for a resort experience. The on-island restaurant is great for a fresh fish dinner or a take-away pina colada (fabulous for watching sunsets on the beach). The pools are clean and heated to a decent temperature at all times, and the beaches are some of the most untouched on Florida's southwest coast.

Our condo had washer and dryer and iron (thank you!) along with some basic supplies. It's not clear from the information on the website or reservations phone, that the company that runs the golf cart and kayak rentals is not the same as the resort. And the rental company doesn't provide any reservation confirmations. A little confusing.
