Welcome to The Meeting House Room 3 - 20 Boulevard

Offering 1 king bed, a comfortable sitting area, and a fabulous view of Carlton Landing community garden, this room is perfect for couples on a romantic getaway!

The Meeting House is where community happens! Located at 20 Blvd in Carlton Landing, we are a coffee shop, restaurant, sports bar, and generally awesome concert venue that serves craft beer, amazing wine, and yummy adult beverages! Kids keep us busy making our hand-crafted Blue Bell milkshakes! We have a variety of great Carlton Landing and Meeting House t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and other cool gifts as well! Come join us, stay awhile, make new friends, and laugh with old ones!

The Meeting House offers 3 absolutely beautiful suites upstairs! Each room is extremely comfortable complete with en suite bathrooms. Located on the second floor of The Meeting House, guests will be in the center of the action! Being the only place in Carlton Landing that offers nightly room rentals, The Meeting House suites are a favorite!

Monday Thur Thursday- 8am to 2p
Friday and Saturday- 8am to 10pm
Sunday- 8am to 2pm Closed for Church from 10am to 11am


**Full Disclosure-If you are looking for a quiet place on the weekend or have a certain bedtime this is not the ideal spot for you. The meeting house is hopping downstairs, guests and neighbors hang out outdoors until about 11 pm.

The Meeting House guest parking is located in the parking lot behind The Meeting House.

If you would like to rent a Golf cart, please reserve your cart online through Carts of Carlton at or contact Dr. Doos at.

Meeting House en-suites at LakeStay are equipped with bed linens, bath towels, and a starter supply of amenities. Guests will have access to our community amenities: pool, hot tub, grills, inflatable water park, and seasonal kayaks-paddle board rentals. Please visit for water park and seasonal kayaks-paddle board rental availability.

It was great, just confusion on where it was. The address listed took us to the Welcome Center and they directed us to the Meeting House. A very nice place.

Great place to stay

Staying above The Meeting Place is great. Located close to the activity, convenient to all of CL. Room 2 is not a big as room 3, but is just as nice. I liked the restroom better. The only knock is that the mattress sagged a bit toward the middle.

The Meeting Room

For the most part, the stay was good—good location in the community, room was clean. The bed was awful and appeared to be broken. I would have liked extra towels and toiletries. Note: it can be noisy from the downstairs restaurant and hard to sleep, also woke up early to noise from opening restaurant for breakfast.

Loss of power get away

Staying there and visiting with those who work there to support the guest experience, showcase the overall sense of community. It’s a great place to enjoy being outside and with family.

Beware of sleep canoes! Bad mattress!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was clean and barely adequate for an overnight stay, but there’s no place to store or hang clothes. The mattress is HORRIBLE and needs replaced. Not a good night’s sleep. At least the sheets were nice and the towels were fluffy. There’s no upper curtains to block morning light, so if you like to sleep in, this is not your place. If you want to sleep in a canoe this is your place.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay was just okay. I am not a picky renter, but I sadly have poor reviews to give to this stay. There were no instructions given on how to get to the room where I stayed and left me guessing upon arriving which door was correct. I had booked a two-night stay desiring a peaceful weekend getaway and this was not the right place for that. It was VERY loud. There was music playing loudly until 10 am and bright and early again at 7 am. That was disappointing. I wish there was respect for those staying upstairs by the employees and visitors of the downstairs coffee shop/bar. Not pleased with my stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived, we had no idea where to find our room and had to go inside The Meeting House to ask the bartender. He said it around the corner, through a door and up the stairs. Around the corner, the walkway was filled with boxes of supplies and we couldn't even see the door. When we found it, it was dark inside and we had to find the light switch to walk up the stairs. Our room had no hooks or rack to hand our clothes on. We draped them over two chairs in the room. No place to hang towels after a shower. The king mattress had a hump in the middle and rolled to either side. The room was cold due to a cold front that had blown in. The only temperature control was in the hallway outside of the room. The coffee supplies on a table in the hallway hadn't been filled so there was no creamer, sugar or stirs. I called and left a message and the property manager did offer to move us to another room for the next night, but by then we had decided to leave one night early.

We loved eating downstairs and sitting outside with a drink in the evening from the bar. Yes, it can be busy, but it shuts down at 10 and then is very quiet. Also loved going downstairs for coffee in the morning. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is very small and open to the room (except a little toilet room). It has the essentials you need and is very cute! I would love to come back and stay again. Carlton Landing is overall such a great get away spot!

Awesome property, Awesome Place, but Misleading

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the property and everything about Carlton Landing. One of the coolest places we have been. However, we couldnt help but feel a bit mislead in that besides the small beach no lake side amenities were available to guests and were limited to "owners only". Although everything else about the property, staff and community was flawless we couldnt help but feel a bit disappointed in the management's decision to not show hospitality towards guests. The amenities for guests are nice but nothing to write home about, which is disappointing in that the others we were not allowed in would have gotten 5-star reviews. Felt gimmicky.

Relaxing weekend

We stayed two nights in the Meeting House. The room was comfortable and clean, although since it was above a restaurant, it was a little noisy at night. It would have been nice to have a towel bar or place to hang towels after showering.

As for this room the mattress on one side was way too sunken and uncomfortable - hard to get a good nights sleep! The shower door handle was broken, sink didn’t drain properly and and we could not get cable TV or WiFi reception in our room While it was very clean and attractive, it seemed attention to detail was lacking by maintenance. We’ll stay in a house rather than The Meeting House next time,

Father’s Day Getaway

The water pressure was low in room and it took a few minutes for the water to heat up. Very small room and condensed area including restroom facilities. It would have been nice to have access to a refrigerator in the room. Overall great Father’s Day Getaway!!
