A unique and pleasurable stay! Horses, a short walk to the West Sonoma Regional Trail and the quaint tiwn of Gratan, located on a peaceful horse ranch. Quite, relaxing and the hosts are very responsive, kind & welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The home was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained—exactly as described. The ranch was peaceful and we loved having easy access to the redwoods and other scenic sights. Julie and Henry are responsive, friendly, and made the check-in/out process incredibly smooth. Using the cottage as a base, we toured the sights the area offers easily. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

Cozy Studio

Perfect Studio on a quiet road with loads of quaintness and coziness. Our stay was 4 days and this property was close to great food and delicious wine. We enjoyed every minute.
Fun little fish pond that our little man found very interesting!

Cottage Cuteness

Wonderful property; much larger than you would anticipate and so comfortable and clean. The property hosts were attentive and prop to answer our questions. Definitely on our “keeper” property for stays near the Russian River. Friends and family who stopped by to visit raved about the accommodations.

The perfect place to stay!

Great location - peaceful and relaxing spot away from it all yet a quick drive to restaurants, shops, wineries, the coast and more. The owners have truly thought of everything you could possibly need. Loved our time here and would highly recommend.

Wonderful location and amenities!

Julie and Henry were wonderful hosts. Location was 20 minutes from almost anything in Sonoma, great access to a walking trail, and the space was perfect for a long weekend.

Perfect, quiet Thanksgiving getaway!

We were so happy to spend a quiet Thanksgiving trip at Henry and Julie's wonderful VRBO on their horse ranch! We brought our dog and it was perfectly set-up to enjoy the space and neighborhood with her. The enclosed front yard made it easy to travel with a dog. Inside the guest house we had everything we could ever need to feel right at home. We would love to stay again!

Stay was great!

Ross Creek Ranch is located just outside of downtown Graton. Very quiet and relaxing. The hosts were friendly and assisted with anything that we needed. The rental had very nice furnishings, spacious and comfortable. The foosball table was fun too!

Julie and Henry were the greatest of hosts.

Everything was well stocked and very clean. Location was perfect for getting to the mountains and the ocean without having to drive long distances. Just simply lovely. We really enjoyed how quiet it was.

Perfection

First the location is perfect, second the unit was perfectly appointed and third I am in love with every horse here. Perfect way to start and end each day with a visit!

Awesome experience!

5 stars all the way!! Julie and Henry are wonderful hosts, attentive, caring, engaging and warm. The property is a gem and the neighbors are just as special (hi Gil!). Best vrbo experience so far and I highly recommend this location.

Wonderful!

If you need a perfect place to stay in Sonoma Valley, this is it! The location is perfect for visiting wineries, going to the beach, and going to all the nearby plazas. The cottage is spacious and comfortable and has everything you need. We loved talking to Julie and Henry (and Olivia) and getting recommendations of places to eat and see. My husband especially enjoyed talking to Henry (and feeding the fish!) and was amazed at all he had done.We’ll definitely stay there again next time we’re in that area!

Wine lover's paradise for two

This place is so amazing! It's located very near to at least 3 of our favorite wineries. The accommodations are wonderful! The kitchen has everything you need to create that special meal, plus lots of coffees and teas to choose from. The living area is very roomy and comfortable. The bathroom is more than you'd expect with double sinks, large mirror, and plenty of linens. The owners are very helpful and available whenever you need anything. This was our second stay here, and we hope to be back again.

Great place to stay convenient and centrally located!

We loved our stay at this cute studio cottage. It is centrally located with wineries, dining, and shopping closeby. It is very quiet and a nice place to come back to after a day of adventures around wine country. The hosts were very nice and communication was great. They provided welcom snacks and wine which were greatly appreciated after a long day of travel to get there. I enjoyed walking out to pet the horses which was an added bonus! This place was clean and well stocked with anything we would need. Would definately stay again!

Magical Ranch

We had the most lovely time at the Ranch. Julie is an exceptional host that goes above and beyond expectations. Everything was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed taking a morning stroll visiting the horses and walking the grounds. If you’re lucky Mellisa will be teaching a class you can watch and learn her next level horsemanship. The location is perfect. We would love to stay there again!

Great Place for Exploring the Russian River Valley

Julie and Henry's cottage was perfect for our trip! It had everything we needed, and they gave us lots of suggestions for exploring the surrounding vinyards. We walked to three wineries and a restaurant, all within a couple miles off the nearby West County Trail. There are vinyards and apple orchards in every direction. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals, which we ate al fresco at the tables in the yard. If you like wine and walking, friendly hosts and comfortable accommodations, this place is perfect!

Escape to Ross

I would give Location 8 out of 5 stars if I could. Quiet, private, and so close to excellent cycling and restaurants. Our dog Miles loved this place, with its fenced in yard and a pasture to chase the ball in. Julie was accommodating when it came to extending our stay (several times). I appreciate her efforts and her attention to detail. It made our stay delightful!

We affectionately refer to the cottage as the "Boarder's Lounge", since resident horse owners used to gather there. It has now transformed into an elegant, yet rustic chic, home-away-from-home. We look forward to being your hosts!

We fell in love with this country property, primarily because of its quiet location and pastoral views. Even though we are surrounded by nature, we are close to everything that matters. Visitors to our ranch always feel at home here.
