We felt so comfortable in this lovely spot. Our puppies so enjoyed the well kept lawn and the close proximity to the water. We loved it too! The view from the deck was so peaceful and the community is lovely and welcoming. Sue (the host) was always available and ever helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay - it was perfect for us.

Our family had an amazing vacation at this cottage. The location is right on the water and next to the beach and swimming area. There's also a great outdoor pool and playground for the kids a 2 minute walk down the road. The cottage was cozy and comfortable with. We plan to make this place our yearly summer family vacation tradition. Highly recommend.

Overall, we had a nice stay and would give it 4 stars.The location is excellent—just over an hour from Toronto, making it perfect even for a short getaway. It’s also only about a 20-minute drive to downtown Peterborough, where you can easily find Walmart, Costco, Superstore, and other stores for groceries and daily essentials.The property is located in a beautiful five-star golf course community, which feels quiet, scenic, and very safe. The cottage is right by the lake, with a lovely lake view from the balcony, and there’s a small beach within walking distance for swimming.The community amenities are great for families. The pool, splash pad, basketball court, and tennis court gave the kids plenty to do, and they really enjoyed their time there.The only downside was the cleanliness. The bed sheets were quite old, and some of the kitchen utensils were not properly cleaned. If housekeeping could be improved, this would be an excellent place to stay.Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would recommend it, especially for families with young children.

My family and I absolutely loved staying at this Cottage. From the beautiful scenery, to the pool and outdoor multipurpose court (tennis, pickleball, basketball etc…) everything was perfect. Sue made everything so nice for us. Everything you see is what you get and more! The check in process was simple and easy. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Tons of activities like fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming in a beautiful outdoor pool, the sports court, playground and splash pad. Fire pit, private groomed beach, golf and picturesque views. We had such a great time. The neighbors are so nice and friendly as well. Will be back for sure!

Waterfront cottage

We had a terrific time at Sue’s cottage. It is located conveniently near everything in the neighborhood. It’s right by the water and the beach and less than 5 min walk to the pool, playground, gym and the basketball court. We had all our meals at the back deck with views of the water and had smores on the firepit at night. There were also available kayaks and a canoe free for use and there was also an option to rent out boats for fishing. Sue was a great host. She was very thoughtful to allow us to stay longer because we had a rainy day during our stay. She contacted us the day of our checkout to ask if we wanted to stay longer as she had one free day. Overall, we had an amazing time. Thank you again Sue for letting us stay in your cottage.
