The Islander Villas Community is on the west end of the island which has a much wider beach and is less crowded than the upper end. The Islander Villas community has a very nice ocean front pool club with pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, outdoor tiki bar all on the ocean front as well as 4 community tennis courts.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less crowded island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf shops, restaurants, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart rentals. The backside of the island has quiet protected water great for kayaking.

Wonderful stay!

Our family had an amazing time! The property was clean, attractive, well-kept, well-stocked and convenient to the beach and the pool. The owners were extremely friendly, communicative, and available to us. We would definitely stay there again!

Excellent communication with owner

The property was great as was the location. But what impressed me the most was how Cliff the owner made sure we were happy. He texted us about 2:30 and told us the unit was clean and we could check in early. Inside the unit was all sorts of info to help us make the most of the unit and the Ocean Isle Beach. When we told him the start button on the dryer was stripped and we were using a simple pair of pliers to start the dryer, a repairman replaced it within 36 hours. THAT kinda stuff makes you feel like the owner cares about the renters experience, not just the renters money. All around, one of the best renting experiences we’ve had with VRBO. Also, the property was great!

Great Place!

This is a very nice property. Each room has it's own bathroom. We were all very comfy in our own suites. There were plenty of chairs and room on the deck. We could see and hear the ocean well. The large parking lot beside us came in handy...The little ones got to ride their bikes there, and they could even have ridden them on the quiet street on the oceanside with supervision. Air conditioning worked very well. A good restaurant is in the building where the pool is. There is room for everyone on the big couch, although it is not very comfortable and a little worn. Some of our party went a short distance to see alligators from a safe deck. And we got to see some baby turtles make it safely to the ocean! Ocean Isle is a great spot to use as a baseand go a relatively short distance to sight see and shop at Calabash, Southport, North Myrtle, and Sunset Beach. There is some shopping in Ocean Isle. We really enjoyed it here.

Great property in general, the elevator is a plus, as well as the small refrigerator in one of the bedrooms....nice view of ocean and very convenient to beach and pool. Only negative, the parking underneath the condo complex is cramped; however, because the unit is on the end, we used the parking lot to the right and also there was a small issue with the plugs where golf carts are plugged in....

Great location 3min walk to beach...ocean view from balcony. Plenty of room for our family of 11 in this bright & roomy 3rd floor condo. Renting was easy with Cliff assisting us thru each step. We hope to return to OIB.

Good location.

Unit was in a good location. Close to the beach and had pool access at club. Unit needs updating. Beds were comfortable. Lacked some items such as grill. Glad we brought our own beach items because unit had nothing. Rental agent was excellent. Responded immediately when contacted and addressed issues promptly. Would rent from the agent again.
