The place was warm and inviting. I especially loved the detail to making sure there were so many amenities and labeled where to find things like towels and extra toiletries etc. I also liked the hiking trails. Although we had a short visit because of a family wedding in the area, I would like to come back again for more than a day.

Family Retreat

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay while visiting family that lives in Jaffrey. We were able to comfortably have others over for family meals and visiting. The A/C's in each room were much appreciated and worked great. We plan to use this rental in our future visits to Jaffrey.

Cozy and Charming

Quiet, cozy and charming home with loads of character! Surrounded by nature and abundant peace and quiet, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Eaglewood House while we attended the Northlands Live festival in Swanzey. Check-in and out couldn’t have been easier, and everything in the house was organized and labeled for added convenience. Eaglewood House is well stocked with just about everything you could need and the quality furnishings made our stay exceptionally comfortable.

A great place to stay in Jaffrey!

We had a wonderful stay at Eaglewood House. The house is in a pretty spot and was equipped with everything we needed for a perfect weekend. It’s private and quiet yet close to everything we wanted to do. Communication with the host was great and she was very accommodating to our needs. We would love to return to Eaglewood House someday.

Cozy renovated 1894 cabin

My wife stayed here for 3 night while visiting our son and his fiancé. Very clean, lovely furniture/decorations, thoughtful signage throughout, and plenty amenities. We highly recommend for a quiet, comfortable and private location that is close to Keene, Walpole, Jaffey, etc.

We absolutely loved staying at Eaglewood!! It's the perfect location for adventures in the area. Mt. Monadnock State Park is right down the street, and the Shattuck Golf Course is across the street! This is such a cozy home, and well appointed with everything you could need! It was fun to explore the trails on the property... we especially liked the one that leads to the pond! We will definitely be back!!

WONDERFUL!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy Jaffrey home. The home is beautifully decorated, has very comfortable beds, and plenty of space for everyone. Our younger kids loved the kids room, and they had a separate area where they could watch some TV, while the adults spent time in front of the fireplace. The hosts were very responsive and we felt well taken care of. We look forward to booking this house again and exploring the gorgeous surroundings in the summer.

Perfect Winter Get Away!

The Eaglewood cottage was the perfect spot for our family of educators to relax and re-charge during the February school vacation. The house is very welcoming, beautifully decorated and expertly provisioned to anticipate your every need. We are a family that likes to cook and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The location is superb, with beautiful walks right outside, additional hiking trails just up the road and (once the snow came) groomed cross country trails at the doorstep! The information shared before arrival was super helpful and the check-in/ check-out process could not have been easier.

Slice of Heaven in Jaffrey

The Eaglewood House in Jaffrey is quaint, beautifully remodeled and remote- we had so much fun with our family, we used the firepit and the grill! We went to nearby (hr away) lake sunappe and rented a pontoon for 2 days- had a blast! We did golf, mini golf nearby and best of all relaxed! The house is beautiful and well stocked with all you will need- they even had a cooler and plastic cups for us to take on the boat! There was a crib for our granddaughter- really it had everything we needed and the owners were easy to reach when we had questions! You'll love renting this home and we will definitely be back!

Super cozy & clean retreat

This property should be the blueprint for all rentals. The home is extremely well organized. From labels on cabinets to extra blankets and even a home office. It is obvious the property manager (owner) cares deeply about guests and provided excellent communication. Our family enjoyed access to local hikes, a restaurant, and the cozy fireplace. Our twelve year old daughter said, 'I am going to buy this house when I am an adult'. Enough said - lol.

If you needed a sign to stay here..this is it. Has EVERYTHING you could ever need

We have never stayed somewhere that is so clean, comfortable, and organized. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway that has everything (even ziplock bags) look no further. You’ll notice things are labeled throughout the home which was extremely helpful when it came to looking for things like kitchen gadgets, silverware, and extra towels. Only negative we thought of as a group for future people was phone service isn’t the best in this region but for a retreat/getaway, phones shouldn’t be out anyway! Brewery is walkable distance & if you’re concerned about parking at the house (I.e more than 4 cars will be there), there’s plenty of spots right next door just in case! Thank you to the owner for having such a welcoming place for us to get together at! We hope to come back again someday in the future!

Our Big Fat Greek Family Reunion

I unfortunately wasn’t able to attend this trip/my husbands family reunion but I heard for days how wonderful the house was. In fact I think I received more photos of the property than the reunion itself! The house was exactly like photographed, but even better. My husband sent me a photo as soon as they arrived saying “your twin must have been here” as the pantry baskets were all labeled! When someone does this level of detail I can tell you the love and care they have for their home is amazing. Because of this it makes the guests feel special and taken care of. Everything worked wonderfully in the house and everything is maintained so beautifully it was a pleasure for the family. Even though the next reunion will be on the Cape the family wants to bring me to this house/location because it was such a wonderful time! The homeowners were terrific to communicate with. The location was lovely and everyone enjoyed the local hikes. Thank you again for such a wonderful property. This comes from someone who is very organized and a clean freak! I’m always hesitant to stay in rental properties just because you never know how things are kept. So know that even though I wasn’t there my family knows my standards and I couldn’t be more grateful for their experience and look forward to mine in the future.

Such a gem!

This home is incredible! We had the most magical winter getaway and the hosts have gone above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. Our family especially loved getting cozy by the fire in the living room and the sledding and XC skiing at the golf course across the street! We cooked some great meals and can honestly say the kitchen was FULLY STOCKED with everything we needed (from a lemon juicer to a cheese grater to multiple cookie sheets) and the labels helped us find everything and return it to its proper space.The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable at the same time (pillows, mattresses, sheets, sofas, and chairs are all high-quality). We can't wait to visit again.
