Nestled on a small sandy peninsula, this beautiful home offers incredible water views, multiple decks, exceptional waterfront, and a lovely, spacious interior (lake house charm and luxury).

Summer: Swim (amazing lakefront dock and clean, sandy beach from the natural sandbar on the peninsula), fish (Contoocook is a renowned bass fishing lake), or paddle the lake with our provided kayaks (4) and paddle boards (2). Hike Mt Monadnock, grab ice cream at Kimball Farms, or explore charming towns like Keene and Peterborough. Bring your boat for even more fun.

Winter: Enjoy pond hockey, ice fishing, and snowmobiling on the frozen lake. Skiing: Short drives to Wachusett (35 min), Crotched (40 min), and Sunapee (1 hr).

Breezy point was wonderful. It had all the amenities needed for a perfect weekend away from watching the leaves change to just looking at the beautiful crystal lake. Nice place to stay with family. Hiking was nearby as well as stores if there’s anything that you need it Perfect getaway.

Freizeit at Breezy Point is such a special place. We can’t wait for our family to return next year. Communication with Stephen and Toby was fantastic. In each exchange they were both so warm, welcoming, accommodating, and timely. The home itself is beautiful and cozy. Our family felt at home immediately. We paddled and swam all week long and the shallow water, with soft sandy entry, was perfect for our little ones and dog. We loved watching the osprey, kayaking to the conservation marsh, and swimming/ playing in the clean, clear waters of the lake. We enjoyed building fires in the fire pit outside and the stone fireplace inside, especially with the provided firewood in the garage. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make all of our meals and we really appreciated not needing to pack a single towel. The bath and beach towels both were high quality. Bonus points for awesome appliances including convenient washer/dryer in the large pantry off the kitchen. Many shared living spaces to suit everyone (we had our kids, our small dog, and the grandparents) and the bedrooms were lovely and comfortable for everyone as well. Our kids loved the double bunk bed, which was super sturdy and cozy. Each bedroom has balcony access and lake views— it’s a truly spectacular spot. Highly recommended! Thanks again to Stephen and Toby for everything!

As others have said, the photos don’t do it justice. The house has great spaces and is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. It has a great location with a bit of sandy beach and good swimming. The kayaking was great. I am old so the biggest drawback for me were the steps to the beach and dock but that gives it the good location. I plan to come again. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Beautiful home with stunning lake views from just about every where in the house. Peaceful, clean and spacious. Five of us stayed here and we could have fit more easily. This property is beautiful. Lots of separate sleeping spaces/bedrooms - all with balconies and comfortable seating. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful views of the lake. Kitchen is well equipped, kayaks and beach towels provided. Beach area is very sandy and shallow. The dogs loved it. Great for small children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Stephen was very responsive. Also very close to amenities- large grocery store and gas for our boat. We would highly recommend!

Perfect vacation!!

As first-time guests, we didn’t know what to expect, but the pictures and description didn’t do it justice. It was the perfect getaway, close enough for local family that there was no travel hassle and no coordination headaches, yet peaceful enough to feel like a true vacation. We enjoyed our week at Breezy Point tremendously! We started coming here 18 years ago and have loved this house and it's location. The new owners, Steve and Toby, have made incredible changes to the house, from painting the house a beautiful green color to the closing in of the 3rd floor loft room including adding a private full bathroom on the 3rd floor. The bathroom on the second floor was also redone amazingly. The pictures don't do it justice. We had plenty of room for our cousin's reunion and all the rooms had a great view and access to the deck outside the house. The addition of the two paddle boards was a bonus feature. We spent many hours floating on the sandy, shallow beach in front of the house. We also fished all day long and caught many fish at all hours of the day. Our nights were spent sitting on the porch or by the outdoor fireplace watching the moon and stars over the water. When it rained, we had plenty of room at the dining room table to play games. The sun rises to the left on the lake so we spent many mornings on the dock with our cup of coffee watching the sun rise and seeing the wildlife on the lake. The instructions for the use of the house were well detailed and easy to understand. Steve was so accessible and answered all my questions before and during our stay. Can't wait to come back again next year! Thank you for opening up your house to guests!

We’ve already rebooked for next year! That should speak volumes. This was the best year yet with the updates to the place, especially the gorgeous bathrooms. The new owner really makes it feel like it’s your home during your stay!

Wonderful family vacation!!

We can't say enough good things about our stay at Breezy Point, our friends and family had an amazing week on the water and we're already planning to come back next summer! From the beginning our host, Stephen, was very friendly and helpful - from fishing tips, to suggestions on local restaurants (we tried them all and they were great!). All the new updates to the house were gorgeous, including the third floor bathroom and we enjoyed cooking in the large and well-stocked kitchen. The view is beautiful, and being on the Point, we were able to enjoy it from any room in the house thanks to the many windows. We were there during a heat wave and were a little concerned that there is no A/C, but Breezy Point lived up to her name and between Mother Nature providing a nice cross breeze and the bedroom ceiling and floor fans we were very comfortable. We loved that each floor had it's own deck, with access right off each of the bedrooms. We had 7 adults and 2 teens and we had plenty of room to spread out and then join up for a game at the large dining room table in the evenings. The porch swing is lovely, and I enjoyed having my morning coffee there if not on the dock with my feet in the water. Speaking of the water, it's clear with a sandy bottom right off the shore, not rocky or weedy. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards provided, it was nice not to have to lug them with us for the trip. The fishing was fantastic, we had the best luck right off the dock!

Lakefront memories

Once again I was placed into a state of memories starting from childhood when I used to swim in Lake Sunshine(now lake Contoocook! The scenery is mesmerizing and I love staring at the trees and lake which takes me back to days of freedom and wonderment. The sunrises are spectacular and make me begin a new day with energy and hope for this unsettled world.

Beautiful house and view of Lake

This was our first stay at this property. The communication was easy through the VRBO message app. We received our code for the door and were able to get in without a problem. The directions for the WiFi were very confusing so once I figured it out on my own I rewrote them and left them on the refrigerator for the next guest. The listing description could use some updating as well. It says it only has one bathroom. It actually has 2, with 2 showers and one bathtub. I would also add that you have a k-cup and drip coffee maker to prevent getting asked all the time. There's a large washer and dryer so I am not sure why laundromat is listed at all. It wasn't as clean as our last VRBO rental and there was a fruit fly problem when we arrived. We washed everything and were able to get rid of them. I would also update the pictures for your listing because it looks like there is a beach but it isn't on the property. There are many stairs to get to the water and that could be a problem for small children and older renters. The views from the decks were beautiful and the dock was very sturdy. The lake was clean and not mucky at all. There's plenty of parking space for cars. More than 5 and we found lots to use for toys/games in the garage. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a large pantry for the non-refrigerated food. Aside from 2 more private bedrooms, the other front bedrooms are open-concept. Luckily my brothers were okay with sharing a room and didn't have to share a bed.

Lovely vacay location

Odd sleeping arrangements, however, very doable. Loved the house and balconies. And all the sitting areas. Dish washer needed to be emptied and had to fold all the towels in the dryer when we got there. No refrigerator from Tuesday evening till Friday AM when the hosts were able to get a new one delivered . Yes, we would love to stay here again, in spite off having to live out of coolers and too many trip to get ice and groceries.

Hidden gem

Our stay was great. This house was far better equipped that every other similar property in both the outdoor equipment and the kitchen. The many different gathering areas in the home made it easy to manage the different things we did together. We had a quiet spot for settling the baby, two tables where we could eat and play games, a seating area with tons of windows to enjoy the breeze. The many windows made it easy to keep the house cool almost the entire time. The decks made for many places to enjoy the lake view. The lake was easy to access and kayaks went out every single day. Even our small dog navigated the property easily including walking all the way down the water without any help.

Everything we were looking for!

The home is beautiful, the lake is fantastic, and we loved using the kayaks every day. I really appreciated that all of the sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels, and beach towels were provided, as well as plenty of TP and paper towels. The home is even nicer than it looks in the pictures. The multiple decks are so nice and we love the outdoor lighting too. Overall, a great house and great location.
