Wild Rose Cottage (named by the original owner), is a renovated 1960’s cottage which still retains some of its original charm but with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Located just 100m approx to the Sailing club at the river and a 10 min walk to the beach.



The Space:

Wake up with coffee in the morning sun on the new front deck, then take a leisurely five minute stroll to the wharf for brunch at Hectors or to browse the Sunday morning markets. After a day at the beach, enjoy a glass of wine at the Wharf Barrel Shed or the Sailing Club or head to the local pub for an easy meal out. With so much at your fingertips, there’s really no need to move the car from the driveway.



The main cottage has two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and one with two single beds. At the rear of the property is a separate studio apartment, which includes a third bedroom with a queen bed, living space, a kitchenette, a second bathroom with a bathtub, and laundry facilities. The studio is only included in your booking when you have four or more guests, or it can be added for an additional $40 per night if fewer than four guests are staying. Please note that the laundry facilities are located in the studio, so laundry access is only available when the studio is included in your booking.



The fully fenced backyard features a veggie patch (you’re welcome to help yourself to whatever’s growing), a fire pit for the cooler months and plenty of space to spread out, fire up the BBQ and enjoy a relaxed afternoon.



Sorry, this property is not suitable for young children under the age of 12, this includes babies. We also have a very strict no smoking policy. Please do not book this house if you are a smoker or if anyone in your group smokes or vapes. No parties or events are permitted. The studio space and washing machine are only available when four or more people are booked.



One well behaved small non shedding dog may be allowed to come with you. A $85 pet fee will apply. Please let us know if you wish to bring your fur baby. Sorry, no cats. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in bedrooms.

Additionally, a pre-check-in form must be completed before arrival, which includes submitting a valid ID, a selfie, and agreeing to our terms and conditions. Pricing reflects standard occupancy and associated household use. Accurate guest numbers must be confirmed prior to arrival to ensure the home is prepared and serviced accordingly.



Interaction with Guests:

You’ll have the house to yourselves but we won’t be far away should you need anything.
