This 4-season, all-equipped modern home is the perfect getaway for those seeking comfort, privacy and quiet. Take a relaxing dip in the soaker tub after a hike, gaze at the starry skies while roasting the perfect marshmallow, or cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace inside the house during colder months. When you’re ready, head offsite to explore the many year-round activities and attractions nearby like Arrowhead/Algonquin Parks (2 park passes included) or fine dining in downtown Huntsville.

Cliffside Retreat is your vacation destination that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Muskoka landscape and a peaceful, secluded setting away from all the crowds. Our house is a new build and has been outfitted with smart features, modern comfort and artistic flair.

The main floor consists of a full bathroom and one guest room with a queen bed. Your stay includes all towels, linens, pillows and extra blankets, as well as bathroom essentials such as shampoo, conditioner and soap.

Our family spends a lot of time in the kitchen, so you will be sure to find it outfitted with the latest appliances and fully stocked with all the staples, such as tea, coffee, oil and spices, as well as pots, pans and gadgets for that perfect pancake breakfast and home cooked dinners. When the cooking is done, enjoy the delicious meal at our live edge table.

The great room offers lots of comfy seating, vaulted ceilings and views of the beautiful outdoors. Cozy up with a book or puzzle near the wood burning fireplace, or enjoy a game of cards or scrabble with your group of friends.

On the second floor you will find three more guest rooms, two with queen beds and one with a twin over full bunk. The upstairs bathroom boasts a luxury soaker tub, with additional extras to make for a relaxing dip after a day full of adventures.

The basement is the owner's private space and is off limits to guests.

Venture out to the deck for a BBQ or explore the backyard, where you will find a fire pit and Muskoka chairs available for your use.

We are located just minutes away from downtown Huntsville and close to local attractions, you'll have the best of both worlds; a secluded and peaceful getaway, with easy access to the city and all it has to offer.

Remove leftover food and drinks
Lock the doors
Please ensure any fires are completely out. Double check all rooms for personal items, and that all windows and doors are properly closed, lights are turned off and the outside doors locked.
All garbage (max 2 clear bags) and recycling (max 2 clear blue bags) should be taken to the green bin at the top of the driveway.
All extra garbage and recycling exceeding the 2 bag maximum must be taken off site to a local dump. A $25 charge will be made for each extra bag left behind.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Awesome Nature Getaway

My friends and I stayed in this property over a weekend and we loved it. It was a newly built property. It was very clean and nicely decorated and the check-in process was super easy and smooth. Our hosts were very welcoming. They were very responsive and available to assist with any issues. We highly recommend this property for anyone thinking of staying im Huntsville area.

Home Away from Home

We couldn't have asked for a place as great as this! It was exactly what we needed. It was spacious, bright and fully stocked with everything you'd think you'd need. Unfortunately, with the fire ban due to the ongoing forest fires, we weren't able to enjoy the lovely looking pit area but there were plenty of games, puzzles & toys to keep us all entertained at night.

Wonderful stay

This place is gorgeous. Georgiy and his family have thought of every detail with this place. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. From lots of board games, books, fully stocked kitchen, and just lots of little details that really made our stay so much better. The bathrooms are spa-like. There's a great screened-in patio to enjoy the summer nights without the mosquitos, and Georgiy went the extra mile by providing additional information and just little touches that made everything run smoothly. The place is secluded but really close to great parks, beaches, and downtown Huntsville.

Why they chose this property

These days we all lead busy lives, but my wife and I wanted to be able to get away from hustle and bustle of our everyday city life and have a place surrounded by nature, where we can spend time with friends and family, find peace and quiet, slow down and recharge (and eventually retire to). With our vision we found a lot near Huntsville that was perfect. It had a lush forest, a babbling creek running through the property and a beautiful cliff face, just minutes away the main city with many attractions, dining options, yet very much secluded from everything. We designed our home to be cozy and intimate, and it was a wild ride trying to get the house built trough covid and multiple lockdowns, but we were happy with the result. We hope that our guests would be too.

What makes this property unique

Our house is a secluded getaway. Beautiful views of the cliffside illuminated through out the day by the sun, soft murmurs of wind caressing the leaves of the trees, gentle sounds of the water in the stream heard throughout the day and at night the sky is filled with stars. We are not a waterfront property, so you will not hear any motorized boats or be really close to see your neighbours relaxing at the cottage next door. With 24 acres of land you will have ample privacy. Our unmaintained trail will to take yo up to the top of the cliff for a scenic look out. But should you wish to venture out there is plenty of things to do and see in the area anytime of the year!
