A Hinterland Haven - with stunning views

A private, quiet and spacious apartment with views to Mt Ninderry, Mt Coolum and beyond to the ocean from most rooms including the bathroom! This lower floor of our home provides all the comforts of a 5 star apartment in a rural setting. Enjoy exploring the gardens or just looking across them to the Coast.

We are close to Mapleton and access to all that the Blackall Ranges has to offer but without the traffic and noise, being located at the end of a cul-de-sac.

Tea, coffee and breakfast makings are included. It is a short walk or a 5 minute drive to local cafes and restaurants, wedding venues or forest walks.

A separate entrance with a parking space enables total privacy with as much or little contact with hosts as desired. There is a PowerPoint near the car park if you need to charge your electric vehicle.

We are located close to sections of the Hinterland Great Walk and Peter is happy to offer experienced guidance on tracks.

We are also only 30 minutes from beautiful beaches and the Sunshine Coast airport.

This really is a monster apartment with spacious bedroom, kitchenette, comfortable living and dining areas, separate lounge/TV room and extensive outdoor patios on the east and north sides. In addition to cooking facilities a BBQ is available on the patio. Warm up by the outside chiminea if the night is cool.

Be warned - it is pretty quiet - the most noise you’ll hear is the birds!

A peaceful refuge

Magnificent views from nearly all rooms. A lovely terrace where we sat enjoying the morning and afternoon sun. Spacious and comfortable with all amenities provided and if anything additional was required it was promptly supplied. The hosts were very helpful and provided useful information about the local area. Are definitely planning another stay. folder p

Truely Blissful

Very peaceful with fabulous views. Everything you need is there and more. Loads of space. You dont run into the hosts, its full privacy, however I chose to meet them and they are helpful and friendly. I definately recommend this delightful, comfortable Mapleton get-away.

Wonderful Stay

Stayed for a week and absolutely loved it. Great secluded location and the view was spectacular. The accommodation modern and clean with plenty of space. Location is very convenient, 30 minutes to Sunshine Coast and Maleny and Montville 10 minutes away. The owners Meryl and Peter were lovely. Hopefully we can return again soon.

Amazing, the best place we have ever stayed in. Well presented property overlooking the valley with views to the ocean, quiet and totally relaxing. Great owners who are mostly unseen but there if you want to talk. We will definately be back again..

This place is wonderful. Peter and Meryl are excellent hosts, communicative and welcoming and a good source of local knowledge without being intrusive at all. The apartment is large, spacious, well designed and well-equipped. The views across the hinterland are stunning.

Beautiful home in stunning location

My wife and I had the privilege of staying at this wonderful home set amongst beautiful surroundings with an amazing view overlooking the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and out to the ocean. The room is very spacious and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and approachable who are always eager to help with anything you need. I thoroughly recommend the place if you’re considering a visit to beautiful Sunshine Coast, QLD.

We just loved the accommodation! It exceeded our expectations. Meryle and Peter were gracious hosts

We stayed two nights and it was just as the ad explained and more. Very peaceful and it was such a delight to find a Christmas tree and some decorations scattered around the apartment. Beautiful & restorative stay!!

Beautifully appointed spacious unit with stunning hinterland views offers peaceful and restorative surroundings while travelling. Meryl & Peter are welcoming and gracious hosts and even provide breakfast making provisions and unexpected extras. Much enjoyed our four nights and could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommend!
