We had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent with the ability to walk to the beach or downtown St. Joe in 5-10 minutes. The house had so many accommodations, especially for our two small children. The kitchen was stocked with essentials that helped tremendously during our stay as well. We will be back!

The perfect house for our needs! Everything was in walking distance. The house was historical, clean, quiet, lovely neighborhood and well stocked. We have family here and look forward to visiting again.

Host was extremely communicative and welcoming. Location was perfect. FYI for families with little, there is a decent hill to get up/down the beach.

The house is very pretty/ practical. It has everything you’ll need. Location is great and the owner is very nice and responds quickly. Neighborhood is great with very friendly people Plan on staying again

Clean and close to everything

Property is very clean and well stocked. We appreciated the beach gear, which was all in great shape. Walking distance to pretty much everything.

What a Haven!

Just what I needed - close to town and the beach. Could walk everywhere! Clean and peaceful; includes all amenities! Including a laundry room!!!

Perfect in St. Joseph

This was an amazing place to stay. Very clean, near the beach, great communication with the owner. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in St. Joseph! Great comfortable beds, wonderful natural lighting throughout the entire place, has everything you and your family would need for a great stay.

Lake Michigan getaway

Blue Spruce Haven is a cozy and relaxing place in St. Joseph, MI. Just a short 5 minute walk to the beach on Lake Michigan and conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. Looking forward to visiting again in the future. A great place to stay, highly recommend Blue Spruce Haven.

Great Location/Cute Property

We loved the location of the property! We could walk a few blocks down to the beach or right into town. Had the perishables stocked we needed just like home. Would recommend this property to friends and family.

This is a great spot! We had never been to Lake Michigan before. We loved this town and this location. Once you are here you don’t have to drive anywhere other than the grocery store. It is a block away from Park Street, which we found to be the easiest way to get a stroller/wagon down to the beach. Less steep than the main ramp near the splash pad. This house has everything you need. If you have little kids, you will be happy to know that there is a stool so toddlers can reach the sink, the cabinet under the kitchen sink has child locks, and there are no stairs in the home. There is a bathtub and plenty of shovels and pails for kids to use. We really enjoyed relaxing in the front sitting area at the end of the day. This is a charming old home in the historic downtown area. We would gladly stay here again and would recommend this location to anyone interested in a trip to St. Joe.

Nice, clean, updated house in a great location. Easy walk to downtown St. Joe and Lake Michigan. Didn't know there are attached apartments where a little noise would come through the ceiling, but it didn't bother us and was barely noticeable.

Will stay here again!

Lovely property on a quiet street. Within walking distance to the beach, and town for shopping and meals. Comfortable accommodations. A garage for my car, a big plus! The walls are shared with another apartment, but you can barely hear them. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and look forward to the next visit!

Perfect place

Thanks Sandra your place was a home away from home for us. Nice and warm, clean, a great garage and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is charming and we had fun at the Krasl and downtown shops. We were sad to leave. Thank you from two Aussies on safari 😊

Family Week

We stayed here with a 3 and 5 year old. They shared the back bedroom. We loved that the house had 2 wagons, tons of beach toys, and fishing poles. The location is unbeatable. Short walk to 2 beaches and into town. Our 5 year old loved all the "secret doors" to get to the laundry room.

Perfect location

We loved this charming house in the perfect location! First time in St Joseph for a long weekend with my husband and 2 yr old. Loved the easy walk to the beach and having wagons to haul all of our stuff. Also easy walk to splash pad, carousel, kids museum and restaurants. The house was clean and good size for our family. My favorite part was the little sunroom where I could drink coffee and read in the mornings! Great stay and the host was very helpful.

Cozy and Convenient Place to Stay

Blue Spruce Haven turned out to be a wonderful place to stay while exploring St. Joseph!! The house was clean and large enough for my husband and I to feel quite comfortable. Like other reviewers, our favorite was the sitting room; as we had a few rainy days, we were quite cozy in there, reading. My other favorite thing was being allowed to use the garage for our car, bikes and the use of their beach chairs. This place is also extremely convenient to the beach and the town.
