Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.
Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.
Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

This condo was the perfect spot for a ski trip at Steamboat. We had a group of 10 guys, and this place had enough space for us to be comfortable the whole time. The shuttle to the mountain made everything super convenient, and the hot tub across the street was the perfect way to relax after a day of skiing. Highly recommend, especially for large groups.
My family and I enjoyed the stay at this spacious property. Everything was perfect from check in until it was time to check out . This property exceeded my expectations .

Will stay again.
Great place, bedroom layout is perfect for a group of 10 people.__Has everything you need with easy access to resort with the shuttle coming every 5-10 minutes.____Some suggestions for improvement would be to provide dish washer soap, fix the kitchen chairs that are falling apart, upgrade TVs or at least don't advertise that they're new cause they certainly are not.____Also would be so nice if you allowed dogs, even if it came with an additional charge.

Hi Dave! Thank you for your review. We're thrilled to hear that the bedroom layout worked perfectly for your group and that you found the shuttle service convenient. We appreciate your feedback on the dishwasher soap, kitchen chairs, and TVs. We'll definitely look into these areas for improvement. As for allowing dogs, we'll consider your suggestion for future stays. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!
This condo was cozy and perfect for our needs. We had 6 adults and 5 kids, so every ned was occupied. The service for the shuttles and other needs were promptly and courteously answered.

Thanks so much for the review, Theodore! We enjoyed hosting you and are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you again!
The property was as described. Transportation was excellent but we would have liked more guidance about how to use the bus system and VRBO vans before we arrived. We ordered groceries from City Market and the order delivered was incorrect. We were promised a make-up delivery which never arrived. Safeway and Uber worked for us.

Thanks for coming Gary, this spot actually has shuttle service and a bus system right there. Hope you can come visit again, we also can recommend some other delivery services if you ever need
Property is super convenient: close to the slopes (under half a mile), and with a property run shuttle coming every 10 minutes during the usual morning /end of day times (and with a nearby green/orange line stop if needed). The attached two car garage is nice. And the house is roomy with a nice table /bar for seating, two large sofas, warm fire place, nice new looking carpet and comfy beds. Two minor issues: be careful with the heat; downstairs runs cold and the upstairs overheats, so grab a few extra blankets for those sleeping in the basement and don't crank up the heat. And the dishwasher rack is missing several wheels (should be a cheap fix - could be ordered off Amazon).

Thanks for coming to visit Kelly, we're glad your group had a nice time and enjoyed all the handy amenities. If you ever need our Guest Services team has extra supplies and heaters etc too
We stayed here just before Christmas. 2 couples, 2 young adults and 2 single men. Plenty of room for everyone. We also had 3 cars so the 2-car garage and driveway was very helpful. Drop off for skiing (someone in our group who wasn't skiing drove) was only a few minutes away. We had an issue with the freezer but I assume it was fixed after we checked out (we didn't realize it was such a problem until we checked out). Not a dealbreaker at all, but water pressure was affected by flushing toilets/showers so we just made sure we tried to stagger our showers a bit. It was not an issue. Great place - our group would definitely come back!

We really appreciate you choosing to stay with us! It’s wonderful to hear everything was a good fit. You're welcome back anytime!
The townhome is walking distance to the ski area. With ski gear, though, it's best to take the free bus, with a stop nearby. There are lots of beds so it can accommodate a larger group. The kitchen could be a little better stocked and the main tv only has cable, but otherwise we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
