Our family had a wonderful time staying here during our Catalina trip. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had every amenity we could’ve asked for. The view was gorgeous, and having the golf cart included made exploring the island so convenient. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Catalina!

Perfect little weekend getaway spot. Property was slightly dated and the shower head only worked if we held a button down; however these small items wouldn’t prevent us from wanting to rent the property again

Great Host, Great Stay

Excellent property. We always wanted to stay at Hamilton Cove and it did not disappoint. The gold cart was a rad added bonus. The braking feature and parking feature didn’t feel perfect, and it worked out nicely

First Catalina trip

This was our first time to Catalina and we were very happy with the stay at this condo. The golf cart was a huge help to get around the town and the condo itself was clean well kept.

Magnificent Birthday Getaway

Perfect location and amenities

Our family loved staying here. The condo was clean and exactly like the pictures. The location was away from the busy “downtown” but still very easy and quick to get to the city center with the included golf cart. We had no idea how valuable and great the included golf cart would be. We also took advantage of all the onsite amenities (mini golf, croquet, basketball, tennis, playground, and more). Communication with the host was quick and easy and check in and other instructions were easy to follow. Would definitely stay here again when we come back.

Right off the bat the secluded location, super quiet. Walking into condo, loved front door design, very clean and no harsh smells. Everything is available as far as to cook, or grill outside. Overall loved it and family did too!

Great location and wonderful view.

Hamilton Cove is a nice community and the unit was clean, functional and had a nice view. The community is a distance from the main town and so the golf cart was key to get around and was a nice addition. The only negative is the 3 flights of stairs you have to climb to the unit. Not recommended for anyone with restricted mobility.

Location of the unit is great in proximity to the pool and beach access to looking at crabs and critters in tidepools. The balcony is great and the view is wonderful. The condo was stocked with sufficient towels and blankets/sheets and pool/beach supplies. The cons:The pull out couch is not great at all - even for kids.The blow up air mattress did not hold air (there was a patch kit but wasn't going to mess with and take up time).We never found the wifi network and the box didn't have any signal so did not have internet for the duration of our stay.All this to say we had a nice time and could have reached out to fix above issues but didn't want to take time to deal with (we have two small kids).

This is a nice quiet place to stay and enjoy the evening stars at night. They said that there were stairs to go down to the condo, but they didn't tell us about the 48 steps up from the golf cart The unit itself was just ok, the outdoor furniture is in sad condition with chair pads that are stained and worn out. The railings were full of bird droppings and the patio deck around the table was in need of a good washing. The inside of the unit shows it's age and not much pride in ownership. We will be looking for a different place to rent for next year.

Nice property

We stayed for a long July 4th weekend. The location was about a 10 minute golf cart ride from Avalon. The property was well maintained and clean. Everything worked. The kitchen was well stocked although we ended up eating out more than cooking in. The condo was spacious and fit out needs. The washer dryer combo was nice as we could bring half the clothes. Only a couple of things, not enough to docks any stars. I have ATT phone service and had no reception. My girlfriend has Verizon and pulled in a signal no problem. We’re in our 60s and my girlfriend had hip replacement surgery. It’s three flights up stairs from the bottom of the hill but only one flight down from the top of the hill so id drop her off at the top and then park at the bottom so we adjusted. We’d stay again.

3 day Weekend at Catalina Island CA

Took only 45 min to walk from boat drop off to the Condo. A hill last part of walk. Gated community and gate guard helpful directions to condo. No elevators, some stairs but this 72 yr old managed hill and stairs. I packed light! Place is Very spacious and clean. It was great to eat on shared patio or stargaze at night. No directions to use TV remote-Figuring the volume was difficult. Quiet fan above comfy Cal King bed. Open bedroom/patio door refreshing breeze at night. Can hear the ocean at times. Roomy shower with shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Towels and wash cloths were soft. Golf cart with 5gal gas tank, is included with condo cost, extremely helpful-very expensive downtown. We used about half a tank and easily filled at only gas station, pst boat drop off. I had questions, called # & answered within minutes or sooner. Enjoyed the heated pool, jacuzzi, gym, sauna. Saw croquet, mini golf, and tennis courts, was unaware of them. I look forward to use use again.

Comfortable Hamilton Cove Condo

This home met our needs! Although it doesn’t have the views that other units in the complex have, the location was good. There are three flights of stairs, 48 steps, up to get from the golf cart to the landing. However, if you are dropped off at the top of the building, it’s only one flight down. You still need to park the cart at the bottom of the building. The croquet court was just a few steps down from the landing. We wished there were some croquet balls and mallets so we could play. The unit is comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, and updated.
