This top-floor duplex offers wonderful, spacious family holiday accommodation at n the heart of Nelson Bay. Located in walking distance to all that the town has to offer, it’s just 800m (or a 10 minute stroll) to Dutchman’s Beach, a popular area for families with young children. This picturesque beach offers calm waters to swim or splash in and a reserve with BBQ's, picnic areas, and a playground for the kids. Follow the walking path along the coastline to find Bagnalls Beach and playground and on the other side of Dutchies Beach, 1.5km from your holiday home, is Nelson Bay and the d'Albora Marina. Check out the range of cafes, restaurants, shops and activities on offer in Nelson Bay, and get out on the water on a dolphin watch cruise (all year), whale watch cruise (June-November), kayak or stand up paddle board.
The duplex includes an air-conditioned lounge area that leads out to a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The home has been recently refurbished and painted throughout, offering a wonderfully welcoming space for your family, and the spacious living area features a Smart TV and complimentary wifi. With a combined kitchen/dining layout, the large, fully equipped kitchen offers a breakfast bar, stone benchtops and stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher), and allows all the family to gather in the one space. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower, with a separate toilet. There are 3 bedrooms, all with new built-in robes. One bedroom features a double bed, ceiling fan and access out onto the balcony, while the 2nd bedroom has a double bed and ceiling fan, and the 3rd bedroom offers a bunk bed and 2 single beds with a pedestal fan.
You also have access to some shared spaces on the ground floor, including a laundry that offers a washer and ironing facilities. There is also a great communal enclosed BBQ area with tables and chairs as well as access to a 2nd shower and toilet. The duplex offers a large communal in-ground swimming pool for you to cool off in – summer afternoons never looked so good.
Parking is available for 3 cars, one in an undercover carport and 2 in the driveway, or there is ample room for your boat.
