Great girls getaway. Was so easy to check in at the front desk - restaurant/bar is attached. We did not check this out but the menu did look yummy. The customer service was very friendly, positive and over very helpful. Extremely convenient to rent bikes from the front desk and explore the island. So grateful to the help of all the ladies that checked us in/out and answered all of our questions. Easy walk down to the beach to watch the sunrise and stroll around. Would def recommend.

The location was great for beach access. We brought our bikes, and there was a bike rack right in front of the condo. Everything was conveniently located on the island to the condo. The host was responsive and the attendants at the main office were very helpful. The kids loved walking over and getting hot chocolate in the mornings before grabbing a volleyball or jumping in the pool.

It’s not always easy to judge a listing by the pictures. This was a nice Vrbo, though a little dated. When we first walked in we immediately noticed a smell like mildew, which seemed to come from the downstairs area. (I contacted our host; he answered promptly that he was unaware and let housekeeping know.) The smell was unpleasant, but it was bearable. Otherwise, the house was clean. There were enough towels, which is always a plus, and the beds were comfortable. Parking was doable and included but we rarely got a space neat our door, I think in part due to the restaurant across the lot. There is a flight of stairs to climb - I didn’t pay attention to that picture. It was quiet, though, and close to Driftwood Beach. Overall, I’d say good, but not great.

Good Value for the Money

Comfortable accommodations and convenient location on the north end of the island. We are outdoors people so it worked well for us to be next to driftwood beach. Right across from the Driftwood Bistro and pool. Would come back again.

This place was fabulous. We were close to the campground & a huge group of our friends. Clean, quiet, bike rental easy, the Bistro restaurant across the parking lot, beach within steps, etc... We would definitely rent again!! Thank you for the opportunity:)

First Time at Jekyll Island

This was our first time on Jekyll Island, and found the accommodations and host to be top notch. There were 6 of us, and condo had ample room. The folks at Villas By the Sea were also very helpful. Though we didn't know it when we booked this place, it's very close to Driftwood Beach, which we visited a few times. A good time was had by all.

Wonderful get away.

Our stay was peaceful and full of family fun. From walking the beach, to renting bikes to ride around the island, to walking across the street to check out Hortons pond. Drift wood beach was just around the corner from the property. We rented a golf cart from red bug motors for a day. There was a lot of things to do.
