Exceptional views, right in town

This timber design award-winning bach has a large open-plan space with a mezzanine and a ply interior. The whole house receives great sunlight and has outstanding views of the harbour and sunset. Located near the town centre and market, coffee shops and stores are just a 4-minute walk from the property. The house is set back from the road with one designated car park + roadside parking (no room for boat parking on site). There are no separate bedrooms as such: the mezzanine has a queen bed and a single bed, and there are 2 fold-out double-bed sofas in the living area. The house can sleep 5, but is an ideal couples' retreat. There is a two-burner stove top and a Weber barbecue, but no oven or dishwasher. Plenty of outdoor deck area with a table and seating to enjoy the sunsets.

Amazing Views, Relaxed Vibes

We had a lovely relaxed stay. We appreciated the ease and simplicity of the property. It was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed for a couple of nights away. The location close to town was fantastic and the sunset views were amazing. Would stay again :-)

Gorgeous view in a spacious haven

My partner and I loved waking up and looking out over Raglan and the ocean beyond as the sun came up, then wandering down for a coffee and bite to eat in the township (it's a gorgeous five minute walk), then cosying up all afternoon on the couches and enjoying a BBQ for dinner. The perfect spot for a weekend getaway while staying in the cool spot of the town.

Great stay

We had a great stay. Such beautiful views. We found it a little tough to plan and check out bookings with the lack of wifi. Also the pull out beds in the living room area were really uncomfortable for our children. Apart from that it was a beautiful Bach.

Great view, but lacking amenities (as listed), expensive

Beautiful location and view, short walk to the cute town of Raglan and its dining options. For the cost, the lack of basic amenities usually found in an VRBO was disappointing (no wifi, microwave (or oven) made it feel like we were overcharged for the space.

Location, nature & beautiful home

We walked in and the views blew us away. We could see the beach, parts of the township and felt like we genuinely scored the best place to stay! Location is excellent & township literally only a few minutes walk away (downhill). There’s a cute little gallery a few metres from driveway (opposite side of road). It’s a peaceful getaway & we enjoyed our time here. Hosts are friendly and live in house next to Bach but this wasn’t an issue at all.

Absolutely Beautiful

This property was exactly as advertised. Beautiful , enormous windows that provided a gorgeous outlook over the water. Quick walk/drive to town, with a lot more than we had expected to be on offer. The property was incredibly serene, and whilst the neighbours are close, you never felt like they were 'in your buisness'. I would absolutely recommend this property to all couples looking for a getaway.
