This was a unique and wonderful stay! Quiet location in the countryside, but close enough to enjoy the beautiful waterfalls and towns. The house was perfect for an anniversary getaway!

Very clean, well decorated property. The host was very pleasant and gave recommendations for some great places to eat. We fished and explored the property. I highly recommend this property. Itā€™s a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

Unique and interesting property. Quiet, clean, and amenities were plentiful. Would be a wonderful place to bring kids. However the cabin we stayed in was a small 2 story with stairs that rounded going to the top floor. Tricky for some to maneuver.

This place was absolutely amazing!! I believe we had the whole place to ourselves. There is something fun to see around every corner and the owners are so nice to talk with. They paid attention to each detail in the rental unit. It was so cute and clean. We will be coming back!

Hidden Hollow Adventures

The cabin we stayed in at then hidden Hollow property was amazing! It was clean, well stocked, and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean and soft. The ac units worked well and chilled the place very well. The decor was cute and really fit the cabin. Dishes, some spices, a few drinks, and games were available. The bathroom was amazing with a walk in shower with glass partition and the barrel sink was a nice touch! The owners were friendly and allowed us to explore the entire property, which used to be a fun family park with all types of amenities! Many cute buildings and other accessories adorn the property!

Whimsical & peaceful.

The pictures donā€™t do it justice. Everything was clean. The property owners thought of everything. HIGHLY recommend. The owners were on it one txt and moments later a response. Weā€™ve been staying with VRBO for years and this one is at the top!!

Amazing House and Location

The house was clean and updated, and the property was very fun to explore. The owners were super friendly, and the stay overall was awesome. I would 10000 percent recommend this house to individuals who have kids!!! The complimentary drinks and games were a wonderful addition to have on rainy days. Canā€™t wait to come back and stay again!

Very cool & unique cabin!

This place looks like it used to be a little theme park of sorts, there is a stream that runs vibrantly through the property and next to the house so you can hear the gentle sounds from it. It is also in the middle of nowhere so you have a ton of privacy. You have cable tv access, the a/c works efficiently, itā€™s very clean, the shower is very nice, the bed is so comfortable and it is not far from the town of Cookeville. We had zero issues getting there via our phoneā€™s navigation. Definitely worth staying just for itā€™s proximity to Cummins State Park Waterfalls as well as others and other outdoor enthusiasts activities.

Staying in the wheel house at Hidden Hollow was probably the most unique place Iā€™ve stayed & one of the most unique locations Iā€™ve visited. As a 40yr old man I felt like a kid exploring the place. As a mechanic & DIYā€™er I have a great deal of respect for the late Mr Arda Lee. He built some incredible pieces. Iā€™m not sure if everything was done solely by him but the concrete work for bridges & directing water flow from the multiple water falls was quite impressive. The amount of work that went into making Hidden Hollow is staggering. Especially knowing it was done primarily by one man piecing the place together as he found money & materials. The Wheel house was newly renovated & well done. My wife & I found it charming & had all the necessary accommodations. We plan to visit again & hopefully take our kids. Highly recommend the Wheel House at Hidden Hollow.

Owners have done a fantastic job refurbishing this little TN nugget. Tucked away but close enough to everything. Cozy cabin with many modern touches. Surroundings are really interesting! Enjoy!

Two story updated cabin with some of the neatest accessories throughout the cabin. Not easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues. Property has a lot of potential and could really be a beautiful area to visit once completely updated. Owners do live on property but weā€™re very nice and not intrusive at all.

So many places to explore!

We absolutely loved our stay on this property. The place known as Hidden Hollow has so many things to see. From waterfalls to putt putt, kayaks and ponds full of fish, you could spend time strictly on the property and never get bored. Make sure you dont miss out on all of the great Parks in the area like Rock Island and Falls Creek Falls though. The Wheelhouse cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. Our sons have insisted that we return to stay as soon as possible. If you like a bit of adventure and a lot of whimsy, this is the place you won't want to miss out on!

Absolutely amazing place to Honeymoon!

My husband and I chose to celebrate our honeymoon at this absolutely amazing Wheelhouse and it was the best decision we ever made! This place is so unique, absolutely beautiful and so very peaceful! There truly is no place comparable on Earth! Having coffee by the waterfall every morning was so relaxing, the picnics by the lake in the afternoons was where we shared some of our greatest laughs, and bonfires in the evenings were one-in-a million! The trail around the lake is the perfect place for pictures along with the Wheelhouse itself.The owners did an astounding job on designing the Wheelhouse and the history it carries a story itself. We absolutely cannot wait to visit again and are so thankful it was completed just before we took our honeymoon trip! <3

Given time I felt that I was uncomfortable with my first review. This place was new and I asked if they needed a list of things that were needed and that was done. It is well managed. The couple live there and makes your stay very comfortable. It was a wonderful quiet weekend that we enjoyed
