Family trip

Very good property. House was very clean and pretty. My kids loved the game room specially the pool table. Only thing we didn’t like was we had to purchase bracelets to enter the pool with a family of 18 and the limit was 12 bracelets. But overall nice spot and place.

Great property!! Wonderful property management!!

We had a great stay! We had multiple families with teen kids. The large common area was fantastic. Also, the property manager Becca was very communicative and helpful. Our group rented 2 other properties in the neighborhood and this house and working with Becca was by far our best experience out of the 3 houses we rented. Thank you!!

The house is perfect for large groups

The kitchen is fully stocked. There are plenty of towels and extra blankets. Everything you need to host a large group. We were for mom and 8 teenage boys- The house accommodated us all very well.

Great House - will do it again

The house was very clean and accommodated our large group of adults and children. The downstairs is very spacious and there are enough beds to sleep large groups as advertised. The kitchen, bathrooms, and outdoor area is outfitted with everything you want and need on a beach vacation. Our group loved the air hockey, pool table, and foosball. Lazy river, hot tub, and beach are all within walking distance. We would most definitely go to this property again.

Perfect!

Amazing home to relax in. The view from every deck/balcony is wonderful. The sunsets over the bay are absolutely stunning. Home is spacious, clean, kitchen had everything we needed to host a group of 12. The pool table/air hockey were a hit for game night. Plenty of sleeping space. This one is a real gem and our Evolve host Trish was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Not as expected

Beautiful location. House is not well maintained. Property manager could not answer my questions about if there were basic things available at the property. Her response was just bring your own because she didn't know if they would be available.

Annual Family Gathering

The property was convenient to pool and beach, fishing, groceries. Overall, everyone had an opportunity to do something or do another and enjoy the breeze in the evening on the balconies. Trish, our contact while we stayed there, was amazing. Always reachable for questions/answers. This homeowner is lucky to have her. Great job, Trish!

At Home with stunning Views of the Bay

The house was very clean and well kept, which enhanced our stay. Views from every window a fantastic start to the day and a relaxing end to each day. All the house features were as advertised. The Air Hockey table, Foosball and Billiards, the entire family enjoyed. A very spacious kitchen with plenty of seating. Not one issue with the appliances and the AtC kepts us cool during the day and comfortable at night.

Not Enough Time

This property was perfect for us. We had 4 moms and 10 kids ranging from 2-10. The game room was great for them and we each slept with our own kids in our own room and it was a perfect fit. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking which was amazing because that’s what we did. The pools were great and it was close to the beach. The lazy River you can walk to which was nice. We would definitely stay again. The refrigerator was a little warm at first, but by the next morning it was working well. Not sure if they turn it up in between stays or not. The Property Manager was extremely communicative before we got there and told us everything we needed to know which was amazing! I couldn’t get in touch with her about the fridge the day we arrived which was frustrating. Thankfully I remembered there was another fridge downstairs that we could use and that she told us about also. She did respond the next morning and by then it had cooled off, so ended up not being a big deal. Plenty of toys for the beach too. Wish we had more time!

Spacious, fun home in nice community

Two families of 4 (8 total) stayed for a week. First time to Texas side of Gulf. Have rented many properties prior. Evolve team was very responsive and easy to work with. I had an issue with my credit card and they answered the phone early on a Saturday. Trish, the contact for our rental, reached out a few weeks ahead of time with a welcome call. She was very friendly and provided useful information about the house and area. Kids all commented about how tight the sheets were on their beds! Trish is excellent! House: It's as big in real life as the pictures. Full size washer/dryer. Plenty of towels, linens, kitchen gear. Convenient amount of soaps, paper products, etc. to mostly get us through the week. Good AC. Pool table, air hockey, and foosball tables are good quality and were a lot of fun. One detail surprised me. First word in listing is "New!". Must refer to listing as rental w/Evolve as house is ~15 years old. Shows in some areas. House pictures are accurate, although main floor now has LVT in main area. Also note, lots of building going on in development. From pictures, several more houses now exist on West side. Generators running nail guns by day. Barely noticeable inside house and good sign for community. Pointe West: Nice community. Well kept grounds. Aesthetically consistent design across homes, condo's, and common areas. "Sunset beach" pool's (lazy river) nearest house are heated, which was very nice although pools were closed a couple days during out stay for maintenance. Exercise room at main resort building is bigger than typical hotel setup and adequate for a good workout. Generally, quiet area on far southwest end of Galveston island. Nice beaches around w/some accessible by vehicle. We enjoyed Space Center Houston, Ocean Star offshore drilling rig, Naval museum, and Pleasure Pier. They require a bit of driving from Pointe West.

Very pleased

Very pleased with property. Clean and well kept. Property management and owners very responsive and helpful! Only one suggestion, more soaps and shampoo!! Not nearly enough for 20 people. Might be more specific about that. Otherwise, we were all very satisfied.

Great house. Poor amenities at the resort.

House and manager were awesome. House was roomy, very nice, and kids loved the pool table, air hockey etc. Access to the community resort pool was a mess. Restaurant and bar closed. Limit access as the resort management company limits you from being your whole group. I had to rent a condo that never used just to get my whole family access at the resort pool. Silliness

The BayDream Believer

House is very spacious with a beautiful kitchen. There were absolutely no cooking spoons and since we were having our Thanksgiving dinner there, we had to improvise. Packing everything up those stares was hard. All table games were downstairs which made it a little noisy when trying to watch TV. The Ps4 while a nice jester is connected to the main TV on the 1st floor, glad we brought our own Ps4 & an extra TV where the kids were able to connect it and be upstairs. Weather was bad most of our trip but we still enjoyed our time together. We paid $120 for access to the Point West Resort Beach Club, the office was closed so I guess they locked up all of the pool sticks, pinpong paddles/balls, also balls for Foosball table etc. Basket ball court was locked so we got no use.

Fun family vacation spot

My husband and invited our three sons daughter in laws, five grand know ds and one great grandchild for a family get together. We had so much fun!! We rented a golf cart and enjoyed the pools, the gym, and the restaurant. The pool table, air hockey and foosball we're great and no one was bored for a minute. Our host Trish was really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this house in Pointe West.

Big Spacious House

This house is awesome. It has plenty of space to hang out, complete with a pool table, air hockey, grill, and so on. We enjoyed the house and recommend it to others.
