Our stay on Galveston Island was wonderful. The home was located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, just a short walk from the beach and close to restaurants, shops, and other attractions. The house itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed spending time on the front porch and patio—it was the perfect spot to sit and unwind. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, and communication was smooth and effortless from start to finish. We truly felt welcomed and at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

There was some miscommunication- the garage has a truck in it so you could not park inside. There was a stain on rug in LR. Some scuff marks on walls in Diniing rm. the window cills needed cleaning. But everything thing else was goid

Nice but lacking attention to detail

The property is well located, not too far from anything. There's a lack of attention to details. Front screen door sticks badly, no creamer, tiniest soap bars ever, no tissues, very cheap toilet paper, TV that was very difficult to operate, no stepping stones across the dirt front yard so when it rained a bit, you had to walk through the mud, and when I stripped the bed to leave, the mattress cover was disgusting with huge stains in the middle! I'm not overly picky but there were enough easily fixed things that had been overlooked that it really effected my overall impression of the place.

Great cozy place in a perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay there again. The house was clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and we were right in the middle of our 2 main "target" locations (ie downtown The Strand and Seawall). Beds were firm but comfortable, and the whole place appeared to be very recently remodeled. The back porch deck was nice for sipping our morning coffee too!

Christmas away

We found the property to be cozy and perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet it afforded us, unlike a hotel. The kitchen allowed us to cook together. Close enough to necessities but far enough from town noises.

Awsome!. Description of property was exactly as described in the advertisement, very clean, fully stocked with supplies, onsite parking, we found our beds to be very comfortable. Easy access to Property Manager. Would stay again.

Cute home in a great spot

We loved our stay in Galveston; the home was just the right fit for us. The home was just as described, with one exception: the description said garage parking was available, but a truck was in there instead. That didn’t affect us, as the driveway was long enough. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown or the seawall. The AC was wonderful- we never had to lower the temp past 72, and I am quite hot-natured! We saw a few small roaches by the end of the week, which honestly is to be expected down at the coast. 2 out of the 3 were dead, so it is obvious that the owners are pretty diligent with treatment. The beds were too hard for our liking, but not enough to take a star away. We’d recommend this as a place to stay!

Long weekend getaway

The house was great. The appliances and finishes are all top notch. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and we enjoyed cooking. The back yard seating was nice for an evening sitting and visiting. The location allowed us to get everywhere we wanted in a short time. Even Hurricane Beryl didn't take away from a great getaway!

Felt like home

The property was very clean, comfortable and cozy. It’s located in a neighborhood not near the hotels or near the vacation goers - I liked that. If you want to be near the excitement and beach, it’s a short drive.

This house was cute and clean...but the neighborhood was pretty sketchy. There was a truck in the garage, so the garage couldn't be used, as advertised. More toilet paper and bath soap would have been appreciated.

Clean and Cozy!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here and will look to book here again in the future. It was the perfect amount of space for our small family. I loved how open the living/dining/kitchen spaces were. Also loved able to do our laundry there! It really was like staying in a home away from home. Plenty of comfy pillows and blankets. Communication with the property manager was quick and efficient. The local contact responded almost immediately to my text messages. The company promptly accommodated my request to extend our stay. A couple things to note that were neither good nor bad (just informative!)- We were told we’d be able to park in the garage, but a truck was parked in there during our stay. The only TV is in the living room and it’s on the small side (maybe 19 inch?). The mattresses are rather firm.

Cute and comfortable house

House was very cute and comfortable. The kitchen was so nicely stocked with pots & pans, dishes, Tupperware, seasonings, ect. The house definitely felt like home. There was one small issue in the main bathroom that it wouldn’t get hot. I contacted the property manager and they fixed it right away. I didn’t notify the property manager but the master shower was missing part of the door and the listing stated you could park in the garage but there was a truck in there. Overall a very cute and comfortable house, would definitely stay here again!
