Making Memories will be the perfect vacation spot to do just that! The home is located in the lovely Northern Michigan town of Traverse City. The home is nestled in a quiet residential area on a large lot offering plenty of privacy and space for guests to enjoy their stay. The home is a brief 8-10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the public beach access of Long Lake, a 10-15 minute drive to the downtown district which boasts some of the best restaurants and shopping in Michigan, nearby wineries offer wonderful opportunities for guests to sample the locally made wines and ciders, and the town of Empire is a short drive away and is home Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. There are many opportunities for guests who wish to hike, bike, swim, and enjoy the outdoors on the many public trails throughout the area.

When guests aren’t out enjoying the local attractions, the home itself offers many opportunities for fun. In the lower level, guests can enjoy a pool table, ping-pong table and a foosball table. There is a big screen smart TV and ample seating space for guests to get comfortable. The home has reliable wifi which makes it perfect for guests who are on a working vacation as well.

The home sleeps 6 guests. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, ample closet space and an ensuite bathroom. Across the hall is the second bedroom with a king sized bed and next to that is the third bedroom with a queen sized bed. The second bathroom is conveniently located across the hall from the two guest bedrooms.
The main level of the home has a living room and sitting room area offering plenty of places for guests to spread out and get comfortable. The dining room has a large table perfect for family meals. The kitchen is well appointed with a dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, and all of the necessities to cook a family meal. A small table is located in the kitchen as a perfect place to have your morning coffee. Guests coming after the 4th of July will have access to a gas grill to prepare meals outdoors. The deck off the back of the home has a patio dining set and overlooks the large backyard and a beautiful magnolia. In the back corner of the private lot, guests will be able to enjoy the firepit - a perfect place to make a s’more!

Guests will have access to the garage (although we request you park in the driveway) and the extra refrigerator perfect for storing beverages or extra groceries if needed.

Making Memories offers all of the comforts of home and guests will find it to be the perfect place to relax and enjoy their stay in beautiful Northern Michigan.

Please note that this home is rented for your quiet enjoyment. Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.

We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and or dishwasher tabs if dishwasher is available at the property. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.
