Situated in a quiet corner of the lakeside town of Paynesville, Dolphin Cottage is only a minutes walk to the magnificent Gippsland Lakes shoreline and boat ramp. With all the comforts of home, including a TV, reverse cycle A/C, and an undercover deck area with an outdoor dining space, you are sure to enjoy your getaway in this cute, modern cottage. This cozy cottage is the perfect springboard to the wonderful cafe and restaurant life along the Paynesville esplanade or take a stroll on the ferry to Raymond Island, enjoy the bird watching along the board walks and spot one of the local koalas.
Tucked behind the owners’ residence, there is ample parking for a car and trailer, a kitchenette with basic cooking utensils, along with an electric hotplate and Gas BBQ in the undercover deck area.

Cozy and well decorated cottage at the back of a property, so I felt safe. With the use of the bbq in a beautiful back yard meant that cooking amenities were available. The hosts are helpful with providing dining local options, directions and local knowledge.

I went over to visit relatives and it was ideal for four nights as it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Cooked a couple of meals on the BBQ which was ideal as didn't have to go out for dinner all the the time. Perfect for short term stay as it has everything you need for a great price. Definitely stay again when I have a return visit.

The photo here shows only the shed with the cooking area next to the cottage. The Cottage itself is delightful, charming and very comfortable. Don't be deceived by this photo. A great amount of attention to detail has been made by the owners to set it up. I loved the dolphin theme with the nicnacs. Only a short walk to lakeside and short drive into Paynesville town. Checkout the wine bar for local camaraderie. Overall: Better than Expected on my first time here and would definitely stay again.

Wir wurden von der Gastfamilie freundlich empfangen, sofort in alle Einzelheiten eingewiesen und über alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Gaststätten aufgeklärt. Das Ferienhaus ist nicht groß, aber es ist incl. Freiluftküche mit Grill wirklich alles da was man braucht.
