Beautiful Space on top of the world

Property is an end unit across from Fort Marcy Park which was a pleasant surprise. You can view sunsets and the moon rising. You can walk to downtown but walking back up the hilly streets is a challenge. The space itself is fully stocked and decorated in an authentic style. King bed is luxurious and comfortable. Not one negative to say.

Fantastic property!

We've stayed in several Ft. Marcy condos. All have been good but this one is the best. Very well-decorated and furnished. We particularly appreciated the artwork. Another bonus was the series of YouTube videos that took all of the guesswork out of making things work properly in the condo. Finally, the condo is located just a few steps from Ft. Marcy park, which is ideal for views of the mountains and the town below. When we return we will try to book this unit!

Best place to stay- on top of hill with scenic views

And so quiet! All comforts and amenities needed for a relaxing vacation. Yet an easy walk to all the places I wanted to go, and then get my exercise in walking back which is uphill (about 1 mile). Much better than paying for parking. We enjoyed the pool and spa! And the owner has a great website telling you everything! Places to go, how to open the comfortable couch bed, etc. it’s a corner end unit with parking a few steps away. I highly recommend it.

Glad to stay here again!The property is across the street from the hilltop entrance to the park, which has a great view of the valley. In mid-September I had no problem with parking or noisy neighbors. Road connections to galleries, the plaza, and shopping, were easy. Having my car was a plus. Most electric scooters probably can't work up that hill.I used the well-equipped kitchen every morning.The mattress on the bed is better than mine at home.I'm 5'8" and had trouble using the raised sink in the bathroom without creating birdbath-like splashes on the counter, so a low stool could've helped me.One thing that management can't easily change: the bathroom floor is not level toward the central connecting hallway. No problem for me, but if you have trouble keeping your balance, prepare to use your hands with the walls and doorframes to feel confident.Again, I'll look for this place again. It worked very well for me.

The condo was very well appointed furnished and we had everything we could need. It was perfect for our stay in Santa Fe. Very comfortable bed and really appreciated the quality all cotton bedding. It was quiet, although as the unit is on the end by the street there was some vehicle noise of cars going in/out of Ft. Marcy park across the street or taking the 'back way' into downtown. The location is prime, very nice neighborhood that is walking distance to the Plaza, Ft. Marcy Park is across the street with beautiful views of the city & its sunsets.Communication with the host was great. We had a SNAFU checking in, which was 100% our error & Ted helped us get it sorted out quickly and easily. We also reported a repair concern during our stay; and that too, was addressed & taken care of immediately. My only complaint, when we decided to extend our stay in Santa Fe for a few more days, this unit was already booked so we had to relocate.

Perfect spot to stay while visiting Sante Fe

Easy to check in and out. This was a lovely condo home right across from a park with a pleasant walk to downtown area, galleries, churches, shops and museums. Coming home was uphill but looking at the homes and flowers along the way made it easier. The decor was Southwest and cute. Comfy bed, nice bathroom with shampoo, soaps etc and plenty of towels. The kitchen was great with all utensils, plates and necessary implements including a wine opener much appreciated. Paper towels and detergent supplied- so easy just to come in and feel at home in a well cared for condo. Big TV’s to watch while relaxing and even a small front porch to sit and watch the stars. Our host texted to make sure we were doing ok which was reassuring- they cared that we were enjoying our visit and didn’t need anything. We enjoyed our visit here and hope to come back - Thankyou!

Super cute! Loved this place!

The unit is really great! Decorations were perfectly aligned to the locale. Bed was comfortable. We will come back here in a heartbeat! The location is awesome as we could drive to just about anywhere in downtown area within 5-10 minutes. We could even get to a casino inside 20 minutes. The only issue we had was that the internet is pretty slow and, in the evenings, slowed even more. We used the TV for Netflix and could watch, but often at night it would freeze up due to bandwidth issues. The TV does have Xfinity though, so we could use that. Ultimately, it was fine as we were on vacation and didn't need the internet, but if we had children, it could have been an issue.Take that as FYI only. The place is well worth the stay.

Good location, but very expensive, and commerical property managment company is difficult

Originally booked the listing in August but needed to change dates. Unfortunately, Evolve is a separate property management agency that doesn't play well with VRBO. Which meant I couldn't ever get a response on VRBO to my change request. I ended up having to call Evolve, and after multiple holds and menu items, finally get through to someone who could help me. Once the new arrival date was booked, I never received a check-in notice on how to access the property, which meant I had again to call Evolve, go through multiple menus, and finally get ahold of someone who sent me a welcome email with details. All, while trying to navigate to the location which wasn't easy to find. It's part of a large condo complex that's clearly been converted to STRs, as that makes the ownership more $. Point is, I would never book a listing that is managed by a large portfolio property management company. You lose the touch and response of communicating directly with an owner, or small property manager professional. A couple of other small things. Property manager requested we take out our own garbage at the end of the stay. When we did so, which is a pretty bold request after forking out a preimum amount for each night's stay, the dumpster was locked. All of it seemed a little too much for a listing that was expensive. PRO: the bed was very comfortable, and the unit was very clean.

In the email, we give clear instructions on how to locate the unit. The instructions also include the guest contact information and we encourage guests to use those contacts to assist when issues arise. - Based on your feedback, we have changed our checkout procedures to say take out the trash "if needed." The dumpster does have a lock and the combination is provided clearly on a document in the unit as well as on our website. - Again, we encourage guests to reach out directly to us, the Guest Contacts, with any issues or questions to help quickly ensure a comfortable stay. While our other guests haven't encountered these issues, we would have been more than happy to help! Thank you for providing such valuable feedback.

Charming Southwestern Style Condo!

This was a lovely one bedroom condo on the end of the unit... very private and quiet, perfect for a couple! Beautifully decorated in a southwestern style, and very clean! Loved the living room with the kiva fireplace and HUGE tv! The leather couch was very comfortable to sit on and watch tv. The kitchen had all modern appliances and a small dining table that we also used as a desk. The bathroom was nicely decorated and had a large copper bowl vessel sink and beautiful cabinet. There was also a large step in shower. The bedroom had a king bed and a large closet. There were also two lovely seating areas outside of the condo, one next to the front door, and one in front of the bedroom window. There were a number of things we did NOT like about the condo, as follows: Bedroom: The king bed was wayyyy too soft and uncomfortable to sleep on. The base of the bed stuck out farther than the mattress on all 3 sides, so we had to be careful at night not to hit our legs on it in the dark. The room had dark wood blinds, but they still let in too much light in the morning. The tv in the bedroom was ridiculously SMALL... like about 32". Would rather have a nice size tv across from the bed than the artwork that is there. Living Room: The kiva fireplace is charming, but does not work well. Damper is hard to open. We made a fire the first night, and it worked well for about 30 minutes and was beautiful! Then some of the smoke starting coming back into the room and made our eyes sting! We had to open the front door to air the room out until the fire burned out. Not sure how you can fix this issue? Bathroom: Would be nice if you had a small teak bench in shower so the ladies have a place to put their feet up on to shave our legs. It was great that you provided complimentary pump shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower, but they take up the one shelf in the shower and no room for other things like razors. Also no good place to hang washcloths in shower as no grab bars in shower. The bathroom exhaust fan was extremely noisy, so there may be something going bad on it. Perhaps the owner may consider making at least some of the changes we suggested above to make stays at this lovely condo more comfortable. Thank you!!! :)

Amazing place, amazing location

Close to downtown Santa Fe, but close enough for a day trip to Los Alamos, there are a wide range of things to see and do, and having a relaxing home base makes it all worth while. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked for preparing a meal in, though with so many food choices near by, not sure you want to do this. Would definitely stay again!

Convenient, clean, well appointed. Attention given to small things (especially kitchen cooking and serving items). 10 minute walk (downhill) to downtown square. 3 minute walk to city overlook views in Fort Marcy Park (closed at sundown).
