It’s all in the details

The property was well appointed, clean and simply lovely to stay in. Nestled in a hill side with a beautiful view, this property was comfortably and even stocked with a few essentials. Coffee, some spices to cook with water bottles and dishes, washer dryer. And even plush robes.

Great mountain retreat

Husband and I had a peaceful working vacation and were very comfortable and enjoyed heading out for hikes after work and watching bats off the deck at sunset. Loved the small touches around the cabin.

The Sorcerer’s Cabin’ Arrowbear Lake Retreat

The cabin is nice and kids had lot of fun. It was stuffed with coffee and tea what we enjoyed. It s a bit small for 6 people.

Hidden but great place for family

We had a great time there. My kids loved the Harry Potter theme. My wife liked the spacey kitchen area too. I can feel that this place is well-managed. It was clean, and the property manager responded very quickly to all of my questions. I would visit this place again, that's for sure.

Magical Cabin

The photos on the listing do not do it justice. There are so many fun hidden gems and thousands of magical details. Check in and check out was such an easy process. Would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to stay here again. Very fun!

Cute and Cozy

We loved our stay here. The cabin was nicely updated and had everything we needed for cooking and sleep. The note and wine were such a sweet touch at the time of arrival. Very easy to get to and very close to snow valley. Views were gorgeous and we loved that there were two decks. Main level bathroom was so cool and had the best toiletries provided. The only thing we didn’t love was that the beds were too small for our preference, we are used to sharing a king size but we understood those may not have fit in the space. Loved our stay. Will be back.

Excellent Theme, Minimal Supplies

The Harry Potter theme was really fantastic! It definitely boosted it up a full star. The cabin is very cute and the laundry access and two bathrooms was great. However, it didn’t seem equipped for the four of us, let alone the six the listing says it sleeps. There were only 3 mugs, so we had to take turns who got to have a hot drink. There was no bedding for the sofa bed and few blankets, so we had to share the full beds and use our own blankets we brought. There were some pots, but only one very tiny frying pan and no mixing/serving bowl. It was doable, but required much more time and flexibility. The manager was very responsive through email, which was good because the phone number just went to a voicemail that was full. It was a nice place and a great location, but if we go again we will bring some more of our own supplies.

Magical Stay

My friends and I love Harry Potter, so when we came across this property in our search we just had to book it! We loved the thoughtful details that the property owner included in the property, and we especially enjoyed the Horcrux scavenger hunt! The cabin was cozy, as advertised, and had enough space + kitchen utilities for our group of 4. Any Harry Potter fan would love staying here. Tip: For those traveling during cold weather months it is helpful to have 4WD or AWD as the dirt road and parking spot can get icy. (4WD or AWD is not needed to get to the property when there is not snow or ice. )
