Mothers Day weekend

We checked in a little after 4 and the beds were still not made. The fireplace didn't work and the dishwasher was broken even after being told it was fixed.

Love the views

Great parking and plenty of room for all. Nice to have a little back yard so pets can go potty. Great views, lovely fireplace, great kitchen (just needs blinds on one window), but thought there were TV's in the first floor bedrooms (there was none, but they are small). Lots of tables and chairs for people to be able to sit down and eat.

Summer sand

Needs repair. We didn't feel it was safe for small children. 2 windows in kitchen were low enough for the kids to crawl up and out. No screens! Missing fence board on deck railing allowing kids to fall off deck. Post on lower landing is broke and wobbles if you lean on it. A lite blue pill was left in upstairs garbage can. Luckily an adult found it and not a child. We wiil not rent this house next time.

House was cozy. The kitchen was not well stocked but we managed just fine. There were 4 remotes but no directions on how to work the TV. We finally figured it out. The views were awesome!! We will definitely be coming back.

Winter get away

Comfortable home for a group to stay in. Several of the coffee mugs were too hot to handle when put into the microwave. The exhaust fan in the bathroom on the top level does not work.

Family Vacation Fun

Our kids and grandkids all came with us. House was big enough for everyone to have a bedroom. Large kitchen table to play games and eat. Deck was awesome, we saw many whales breaching and spouting. Check in and check out was great as I was a little nervous of issues. We had none and they were very helpful in getting an item to us that we had left behind. Would rent it again for sure!

Lincoln city house with ocean views

Thought we had a beach access house but instead it had ocean view with short drive to beach. House was not very well stocked in kitchen but we made do. Would bring dish soap, Tupperware and foil, saran wrap and gallon baggies if stayed here again. Some beds good others not great.

Mother’s Day

Pros: Plenty of room. Amazing view. Beds were comfortable. Property manager was quick to respond and show up for issues Cons: No AC. The property needs some TLC and pest control. There were lots of different bugs inside, including carpenter ants. The jets in the jetted tub didn’t work. Furniture in the living area is dirty and worn out.

We rented this home expecting a comfortable beach retreat for 12. Instead, we got a misrepresented, poorly maintained, and even dangerous property, managed by Meredith Lodging.Just days before arrival, we were told the living room TV and oven wouldn't be available. While the TV was replaced, the oven never was. They claimed to provide a “loaner” and even gave dimensions, but it turned out to be a glorified toaster oven already pictured in the original listing.We had planned group meals based on having a full oven and already bought groceries. We had to scramble, waste food, and eat out more than planned. When we requested a modest refund or partial discount, they declined, stating “amenities are not guaranteed.”The home itself is unsafe and poorly maintained:-A sharp metal edge on the ottoman cut a guest’s foot open quite deep when walking past.-Exposed staples by a light switch.-Corroded batteries leaked acid from a dead TV remote.-No screens on any windows, even on upper floors directly behind couches (!!)-Broken fireplace (sign dated 2024).-Jets in jacuzzi tub didn’t work.-Dirty sheets on one bed.-They wanted to charge “50 plus taxes” for a one-hour late checkout.Final Verdict: Do not stay hereThe property is dangerous, falsely advertised, and managed by a rental company (Meredith Lodging) that clearly prioritizes profit over safety or guest experience. Save yourself the headache (and the potential ER visit) and book elsewhere.

This house has a beautiful view of the ocean, large windows in the upstairs bedrooms to enjoy that view and very comfortable beds. It is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Baseboards are very dirty. Doors and walls too. A good paint job throughout the house would be a big improvement. We found lots of bugs and spiders in almost all the rooms with established webs. Cobwebs dangling in the living room and two bedrooms. A spider was even found in the kitchen cupboard with the glasses. The home is in need of multiple repairs. Broken trash cans, light fixtures without shades, furniture falling apart. The living room TV screen is blacked out on 1/4 of it. The glider chair in the living room sounds like a freight train, the shared upstairs bathroom has a jetted tub with broken doors on each side of it. The jets were unavailable for our use as was the fire place. There were 3 shower towels in that shared bathroom, although a total of 8 people can sleep upstairs. The carpet throughout is old, very stained, and dirty. The back door doesn’t fit well and you can feel the breeze under it as well as see the light. The house sleeps 14, but there are only about 5 dinner spoons in the drawer, but lots of bigger serving spoons. For the cost of the rental plus the taxes we spent 5k for 4 nights. We expected a clean, well maintained home. Not perfection. A little TLC needed. I have more pics the they allow

Buyer Beware

12 of us (2 seniors, 5 adults, and 5 kids) stayed there for 6 days. I could have used what I payed to cover the first semester of undergraduate tuition at the University of Tennessee, and then when the taxes went up, they stuck us for that as well. Picture 2 shows red couches in the living room. We had lumpy old gray worn out couches not fit to sleep on. Figure 41 shows a corn hole game on the deck. Not there. Figure 50 shows large playset. Nowhere anywhere close for kids to go to. Fig. 54 does show the road to the beach. Over 3 blocks up and down steep hill. All in all, a very deceptive ad in my opinion. Finally, everytime we used the downstairs shower all the carbon monoxide sensors went off. Dishwasher also wouldn't drain properly so couldn't dry dishes as it should. Called management 4 times and assured each time they would fix it. No one EVER showed. I don't know if the management company or the owners were more at fault for the above and I admit I should have known. Buyer Beware is a true maxim. For the cost, I will never use either again. Lincoln City however was great.
