Maplewood House at Leura

Welcome to Maplewood House, a holiday rental nestled in the heart of serene Leura. This property caters for up to ten guests, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Open-plan kitchen and dining area, fully equipped with modern amenities including dishwasher. Cook up memorable meals, laughing and bonding with loved ones around the beautifully crafted dining table.

You will be kept warm during the winter months with the central heating and three wood fireplaces. One bag of firewood is supplied during the winter months of June, July & August which is enough for 1-2 fires. Extra firewood and kindling can be purchased at local service stations, supermarkets & hardware stores.

You also have the convenience of a washing machine and dryer, ensuring clean, fresh clothes throughout your stay.

The property also provides ample parking space for four vehicles, a dedicated workspace for those who like to stay connected, and free Wi-Fi for your entertainment. The large secure garden is an ideal spot for children to play. Parents can sit back, bask in the sunlit garden whilst supervising their children in a secure environment.

At Maplewood House, we offer the ideal balance between modern comforts and natural charm. Let the soothing surroundings of Leura be your sanctuary for relaxation while you enjoy the luxury and convenience of our holiday rental.

All long weekends are a minimum 3-night stay, all public holidays are charged at the weekend tariff and Easter is a minimum 4-night stay.

All beds will be made with quality linen before your arrival including doonas, pillows, bath towels, bath mats & hand towels. Tea towels are also provided for the kitchen.

Happy Days in the Mountains

Our large family having been through the Covid 19 lockdown were ready to enjoy a great long weekend in the mountains and this wonderfully warm and comfortable house was just what we required to rejuvenate our spirits.

Great weekend getaway

This is a great house for large groups. Everything was very well set up with everything we needed. Beautiful garden, kids loved the cubby and the oval out the back gate was great for the kids to go and play soccer. Perfect place to stay for our family. Thank you!

Tranquil, spacious and well appointed

We enjoyed a fantastic winter weekend at Maplewood House. The sun room was perfect in the mornings and the living room with a cosy fire was perfect in the evenings. Several magnificent bush walks can be accessed literally from the back door. The street is quiet, yet not far from the town centre.

Wonderful friends catch up

Beautiful property ideal for large group get together. Lovely large dinning table for leisurely meals, relaxing sun room and verandah. Bedrooms comfortable and linen. Only feedback for improvement would be fixing two bathroom doors and placemats/coasters for that lovey dining table. A relaxing weekend with girl friends , pleasant street east walk to Main Street. Thank you for making our stay comfortable.

There was no fire wood provided, outdoor furniture was broken so there was no where to sit out back. The bbq needs a good clean. 2 tea bags for 10 adults. I wouldn't stay there again

We had a wonderful stay. Very minimal negative feedback for you...with no bins in bedrooms or bathrooms and the potential for 11 guests, the kitchen bin is too tiny! A few tissue boxes would also be good. Master bedroom, the lamp on the drawers was flickering and not staying on. Aside from that, we loved the house and our stay. Ps maybe some bigger/better drinking glasses too..

Cosy and comfortable in good location

This property is in a good location - very close to Leura mall and with walks that commence almost from the back garden. It is well equipped, cosy and comfortable and accommodates large groups. The check-in process and communication with the owners is easy - they are very responsive. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful house in beautiful area

We loved our stay at Maplewood, a beautiful warm house in a lovely area. Unfortunately the wet weather meant we couldn't fully appreciate the garden and nearby views! Wonderful kitchen with just about everything we could want. Plenty of crockery and cutlery and a great dining table. Comfortable beds, but too many cushions and nowhere to put them! A few issues which I have sent to the property managers.

A great place to stay with a group of friends.

The property was perfect for a group of friends wanting to catch up over a few days. The kitchen and dining areas were really fabulous. The garden could do with a bit of a clean up, but as the weather was cold, we didn’t go into it much. All in all, a very pretty place in a beautiful street within close proximity to everything Leura has to offer.

Serene and green

A lovely spacious and gracious house surrounded by a beautiful mountains garden. Location is excellent, very close to Leura Mall but away from hustle and bustle. Sunroom was an excellent spot for a doze, and kitchen was well equipped. Summer in the mountains is glorious!

Beautiful house

This is the second time we have stayed in your beautiful house and once again it was lovely. A warm house with lovely facilities - thank you! A later check out might have been nice after the long weekend as rushing to leave was not a relaxing end to the weekend but we made it out by 10:03am as the cleaner turned up promptly to clean!

Just to Relax !

Great place to just relax and take time out. House was amazing - very spacious and has an awesome fireplace. Close to all key locations including Leura shops. Garden goes forever then heads out to a large park. Would definitely return to this property at our next Mountains stay.

COVID holiday

Maple wood cottage is ideal for our 3 generation family. The kids used one living space with smart tv. The other large and comfortable lounge room great for adults plus a couple of visitors and delightful veranda setting completed the living spaces. The big dining table accommodated the whole family plus 2 visitors. A very well equipped kitchen allowed for all home food preparation and cooking. Comfortable beds for all. We had prompt and courteous responses from the owners. We will definitely be using this property again. Thank you Rib and Ali

No Locks on Toilet

The house is beautiful and big. But there is no TV on lounge, there is only one tv on sunny-room and it’s quite small. Also there is no lock in any toilets so it’s quite inconvenient if ur staying there with family.

Well located and spacious property

This property was spacious, comfortable and well located with a lovely garden. The only thing missing was kindling for the fire. I would have rated it 5 stars if there had been more basics like coffee (only had 4 pods) and milk.

Nice House & Location

The property is a nice 5-bedroom 3 bathroom cottage with a nice yard and is in close proximity to to some very nice walks. The facilities were generally very good, though here were a few minor faults eg no steel implements for cooking and cleaning for the barbecue, a bathroom where the door would not latch, some tap washers that need replacing. Overall though, a very pleasant place to stay.

Lovely house and garden

The house and garden were beautiful, in a great location, with super comfortable beds and lovely living areas. But the house was freezing when we arrived, there were incorrect instructions for the central heating and the combustion stove wasn’t functional. Also, the kitchen wasn’t really set up for groups (eg not enough wine glasses or large pots). Nevertheless, the host was very responsive and when we called, he came by quickly to help. We would definitely return but a small extra investment would make it perfect.

Blue mountains charm with style and comfort

Impossible not to enjoy a weekend in the mountains in this house. Comfortable beds, cosy fire, lots of great living spaces with a large well stocked kitchen and a gorgeous garden - was hard to find a reason to leave the house but when we did it was an easy walk up Leura shops. Loved all the details that have gone into this house. No hesitation in recommending this house to anyone who wants a perfect blue mountains weekend away.

Wonderful weekend away

We had a wonderful stay at Maplewood House over two nights. The house was spacious and bright with a lot of natural light coming into the bedrooms and living areas and it was very tastefully decorated and didn’t have old/outdated bedspreads etc – everything had a fresh look and feel. It was well stocked with kitchen items and the toiletries were lovely. The large dining table was a treat to sit at. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sun in the afternoons. While we didn’t walk to Leura Mall, it is within walking distance. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again
