This super cute cabin is only a 2 minute drive to The Sandbanks Provincial Park, or an 8 minute walk! Bike or walk to the park in under 10 minutes.

Located less than 2 minutes from The Sandbanks Provincial Park with beautiful country scenery surrounding this cozy cottage.
Enjoy the firepit at night while taking in the sunset.
Added bonus: We are located directly across the road fromThe Caddy Shack Mini-golf and Wood Fired Pizza!
Slake Brewery is a quick 10 min drive and Picton is just 15 minutes away

The advantages:The cottage is located really close to the entrance of Sandbanks National Park. I would not recommend the walk if you have little ones and many things to carry. We loved the location of the cottage, the big parking space, the pizza across the street is yummy. Also, the view by the kitchen is gorgeous window and the place is well equipped. The host replies very quickly.Drawbaks: I removed some points because there were several earwigs (in the shower, closet and even the bed), one of the bed covers and sheets smelled awfully like sweat (thankfully there were extras in the closet). The mural A/C works, keeps the air cool, but it is very noisy and moldy. The A/C was too noisy that we had to switch it off to be able to sleep at night.

Nice place

The cottage was bright and clean. But definitely NOT a 15 minute walk to beach. Across the street a great pizza place and mini putt.

There are 2 entrance ways to the beach. The closest one to us is 15 min. I'm sorry I didn't make it more clear in the listing. There is an entrance right beside the mini putt and it's no more than a 15 min walk

Amazing trip

The property is just beautiful and spotless! So close to the sandbanks park, and amazing to be across the street from the mini putt and pizza bar. Memories made that will last a lifetime. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect PEC getaway

We loved our stay at the Dunes Cottage. We were looking to stay close to Sandbanks, and you couldn't ask for a better spot. We were there mid-week, and it was a very quiet place to stay. Tara is a very responsive host, and the cottage was perfect for our family of three. It was a short drive into both Bloomfield and Wellington for some great lunches and dinners.

Thought of every last detail

We had such a lovely stay at the Dunes Cottage. We were able to walk to Sandbanks Beach, play mini-golf across the road and pick up the freshest fruits and vegetables just down the road. Tara thought of every last detail to make us feel welcome and to ensure our stay felt like home. The cottage is decorated so beautifully and we really appreciated all the thoughtful touches and the responsiveness of the host!

A little paradise

We stayed there with my family for a fews days it was just amazing. This little house, so we’ll decorated with everything you need for even for kids is just amazing. It’s just so quiet so peaceful, close to all the beaches. You can’t go wrong with this. We’ll be back :) Thank you for everything

Great location, close to the beaches

We had a great stay at this vacation cottage. It's perfect for a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 children), nicely renovated and decorated. Even better than the pictures! There's enough space for all of us, nice views in the backyards and perfectly located near the beaches and close to Picton. The air conditioning was perfect for summer weather! The host provides good communication and is very responsive. Only minor thing to improve: dinning area outside is not very inviting, the furniture is dirty. The outside terrace could benefit from some improvements.

Maison idéalement située, à proximité des principales plages de Sandbanks. Très propre et parfaitement équipée, elle offre tout le nécessaire pour accueillir confortablement une famille de quatre personnes pendant une semaine. Les lits sont très confortables.À l'arrivée, la proximité d'une route passante et d'un bâtiment abandonné peut surprendre. Toutefois, cet environnement contribue finalement à une agréable tranquillité. Il est possible de profiter de moments de lecture ou de belles discussions face aux champs, puis de savourer un barbecue à l'ombre des arbres.Nous recommandons cette maison sans hésitation.
