Very nice place in a really good location

Island House Resort

This property was as pictured. Clean, quiet, and has 2 full size beds instead of one full size and 2 twins in second room. It is located directly across from the pool and a short walk(less than 5 minutes) to the beach. The owner listed when I rented never returned my emails, this is why I rated the host a 1 star. I finally started dealing directly with Island House Beach Resort and everything went well after that. The resort is clean, staff are very courteous and check in and out was a breeze! Would definitely stay here again but would do more research into the host or deal directly with the resort.

Villa 40A and 40B were perfect for our family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time in Siesta Key - Villa 40 was the perfect place for our family to celebrate our twin sons' high school graduation. This villa has been updated with laminate flooring, new furniture and modern appliances. The decor has many thoughtful little touches.We were in the perfect location, with the pool directly across from us and the beach a very short walk thru the property. The beach is gorgeous - fine white sand like confectioner's sugar, blue-green water... Old downtown Siesta Key is very charming, with lots of eateries and shops. We rented a golf cart to get around the island from a downtown vendor. This was an extremely convenient way to get around and the vendor made the transaction very easy.Our villa was in walking distance of local eateries and bars. The Orange Octopus is a great place to get ice cream, by the way. I would like to mention Captain Kyle Stephens as a great choice if you want to off-shore fish. We took our boys and their friends on a half-day trip with him. He very knowledgeable about the area and places to fish.We had so much fun on this trip. We're already talking about our next trip to the island!!!
