The host was very welcoming and gave great suggestions for food and activities. The place it self was magical. Beautiful beach, the house was modern, clean, very thoughtfully supplied. It epitomized azur water and pink sand beach.

Lavender House was amazing! Exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and host provides high quality appliances in kitchen if you like to cook meals. The home is just a short walk down to a gorgeous white sand beach and clear water. We had an amazing time and hope to visit again! Thank you Lavender House!

Perfect beach cottage with amazing beach avd view!

The Lavendar Cottage was clean, well maintained, and stocked with all of the essentials. This was our first visit to Eleuthera and we stayed for 10 days. We visited two beaches on the Great Bahama Banks side, but our favorite was the long pink sand beach at the property. Great for morning walks. Communication with rental company and owner was outstanding. Lovely time at The Lavender House!!! Highly recommend. wsideoera.yoEleuthera.wvout

We are so pleased you enjoyed staying at Lavender! We are sorry the recent erosion of the dune next to the beach created a drop off and made the last few feet of our beach path a bit challenging. We have since built a set of stairs to address the drop off so access to the beach is easy again! Thank you for choosing Lavender Beach house and it would be our pleasure to have you back again in the future!

Paradise!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WOW! The Lavender Beach House and the magnificent miles of pink sand beaches within a few steps of the back porch were more than we could have ever imagined. My wife and I stayed at the house for two full weeks in December. The entire time we were there, we never saw more than 3 other people on the beach in a single day.The house felt brand new. Very clean, plenty of cookware, glasses, beach towels, 2 beach chairs, and a cooler.Make sure to wake up early to see the beautiful moonrise and sunrise on the Atlantic Ocean from your bed.Or booking process was seamless, and Linda was very attentive to all our needs. This was our first time staying here, and we will definitely be back!

Thank you Michael for the wonderful review. We try to provide a clean and comfortable home for our guests and then get out of the way while the beauty of the ocean, reef and miles of beaches out front do the rest. We are glad your stay was pleasant and look forward to welcoming you back!

A Relaxing Stay at Lavender

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed spending a quiet week at Lavender House. The location was easy to navigate and was convenient to Governors Harbour and James Pointe. The house was fresh and airy with direct views of the Atlantic. During our stay, we experienced refreshing breezes off the ocean strong enough to keep the insects at bay. We enjoyed watching a few storms, ships off in the distance, and a small shark making the rounds in the morning. The only people we met on the beach for the week were all neighboring homeowners. They were very friendly and helpful in offering recommendations on dining options in the area but were respectful of our privacy. The beach was simply amazing with pink sands and beautiful reefs for exploring. As for the home, it was perfect for our needs, newer build, and clean. Water pressure was adequate and having an outdoor shower was a nice discovery as well. The only suggestion we might add would be to place some sort of gate or netting at the opening to the loft. The loft itself was very cute but not a safe option for younger children with the current set-up. Overall, we would recommend this house and would love to return when visiting the area again.

Thank you for your wonderful review of Lavender House. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and very much appreciate your feedback. In response to your comment on the loft stairs, we are installing a gate for the loft, and a handle to make navigating the stairs much easier! We would love to have you stay with us again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect, everything new, equipped with everything you could wish for.Great kitchen, super nice location right by the sea.Communication with Linda worked very well, no questions remained unanswered, she was very helpful. You should definitely rent a jeep or other car with 4WD, as the road to the house and also to most of the beaches of the island are quite impassable and not paved. We had a Jeep and were happy about it.If we should come to Eleuthera again, I would rent this house again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Lavender house. The home was immaculate and fit the needs of my family of 5 perfectly. The owner and management company went to great lengths to ensure the home had everything that you would need on island. The furnishings and finishings were like new. The view off of the back deck of the Atlantic Ocean was fantastic. There is a path straight down to the beach which was nice and convenient. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off at the end of a beach day. The home has a full size washer and dryer which was great for our family. It was only 5-10 minutes from some great Caribbean beaches and Governors Harbour, so the location was fantastic. Would highly recommend.
