We had a wonderful stay! The house was stocked with any essentials that we may have forgotten. It is SO peaceful, but within a short drive to activities, like rafting on the Arkansas River.

Birthday stay

Took my mom out here for her birthday and we absolutely loved our stay. The views were incredible. Beds were super comfortable and the house has a cozy vibe! The only issue I personally experienced (out of control of the owners) was a near by neighbors dog was barking until midnight. The property was clean and well kept.

Indescribable Views at a Wonderful Cabin

This cabin was perfect for our long weekend in Colorado. No pictures can begin to do justice to the views from this home. Driving into the neighborhood, you realize you might have a great view, but when you look up and see what you believe will be your cabin sitting off in the distance, you can't help but get excited. By the time you reach your cabin, the view is breathtaking, and expansive, and just...indescribable. The cabin was extremely clean and will make you immediately feel at home. From our front porch we watched horses, cows, donkeys, mule deer, and pronghorns. We saw literally hundreds of elk on our drive in from Denver. The stars at night were magnificent. We cannot wait to return.

A true gem for those who love solitude

We loved this place. The views were gorgeous from every single room, and it was very clean. The furniture was so comfy for relaxing in the evenings. This is not a negative at all, but the drive back to the home off the main road would be somewhat difficult this time if year in a car, since the road is muddy and pitted during the day but freezes at night. We had a 4x4 so had no issues at all. Will definitely stay again and wholeheartedly recommend.

So impressed how clean & comfortable this unit is. While we read the check in and check out process, we took it upon ourselves to make this home ours for 3 days and hopefully left the property the way we found it. The attention to detail from kitchen, bathroom and operation of tv & fireplace were very well thought out. We were there to celebrate our daughter’s wedding and while other guests had bigger units this property reminded me when I was a kid and our old lake house. Kudos to Robin & team God bless

Home away from home!

We stayed here for a wedding we had in buena vista and it was perfect! We saw plenty of wildlife including pronghorns and some smaller deer. Sunset and sunrise was gorgeous and the colors were just to die for! If I ever come out this way again I will be booking with them again!

Spectacular Views!

This cabin has spectacular views of the surrounding mountains! The property was perfectly clean and had one of the best stocked kitchens of any place we’ve stayed. Nice to have full cable TV vs. smartTV. We enjoyed seeing deer and antelope roaming. The cabin is about 20-30 minutes from Buena Vista. Note - if you have a dog, the landscape surrounding is high desert and the vegetation is a lot of burrs and stickers you will be pulling out of dog fur for days. That aside - I do recommend the cabin. Very peaceful, very clean. AND - Robin the owner was super fast on the response time and very nice to speak with.

Tranquil Cabin

Gorgeous views of the valley. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with supplies: coffee, tea, spices, appliances and cookware. A grill was available and folding chairs. The view from the enclosed deck was serene with very comfortable chairs and a table. WiFi was good. We were in the area for our son to run The High Lonesome 100 mile run and the cabin was a very quiet spot to relax before and after the run.
