The Space:
Welcome to Washington Virginia Vale, Denver’s oldest neighborhood! While the neighborhood has historical roots, this primely located property was newly renovated to beautifully accentuate the home’s open concept plan and ample natural light. The three-level condo is ideally located to the community’s pool to enjoy a dip on hot days!
This sunny getaway includes an upper-level master bedroom with a private bathroom, an in-unit washer and dryer, and an attached garage for parking! This home boasts no shortage of areas to rest and relax with 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a vast great room with 2-story windows, and a comfortable sectional to cozy up on. When you’re not enjoying the spacious comforts of this home, step outside to experience Colorado’s best cultural and natural attractions. Southeast Denver has lots of green space, including nearby Garland Park and Four Mile Historic Park. Four Mile is home to one of Denver’s oldest standing structures and many festivals, workshops, and fun events are held there throughout the year! Bike or walk along the Cherry Creek Trail, a 40-mile path that will bring you by the Cherry Creek Shopping Center and ends at Confluence Park, which is near the Downtown Aquarium, Children’s Museum, and Elitch Gardens! You’ll enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of SE Denver while still finding crave-able eats, delicious drinks, and the rich culture Denver is famous for.
Everything you’ve heard about The Mile High City is true! The booming metro area has something for every kind of traveler. Soak in Western history at a museum, revel in the cutting-edge culture at Meow Wolf, tempt your tastebuds at chic local restaurants and mind-blowing microbreweries, enjoy parks and greenways throughout the city, bag a 14er and a National Park, or ski at world-class resorts. This is the place to explore, play, or – if you must – get some work done on a business trip or flex-cation.
We’re looking forward to hosting you!
*** Why Choose a Short-Term Rental Over A Hotel? ***
Cleanliness, privacy, and personal service. We have augmented our already industry-leading cleaning and disinfecting protocol to put our guests at ease. We have outfitted our cleaning crews with EPA-recommended household disinfectants to prevent the spreading of viruses and bacteria. You’ll have your own space to unwind, unplug and escape the day's news. Denver-based Highline Management professionally manages our listing to facilitate an excellent guest experience.
Guest Access:
Our guests will have access to the entire condo and the community pool. We offer self check-in/check-out for maximum independence and privacy.
You will have access to the attached garage, community parking, and ample street parking during your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Washington Virginia Village
Denver’s oldest neighborhood is in the top 25 neighborhoods for Denverites to eat, play, and live in! This suburban area is a peaceful place to escape the hustle and bustle of Denver’s downtown while still being close to everything in your itinerary! You’ll find plenty of dining, watering holes, and shops throughout the area, especially along Leetsdale Drive - a short 10-minute walk from your front door!
The neighborhood is a great jumping-off point for exploring Denver, Boulder, Rocky Mountain National Park, ski country, mountain towns, Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, and much more. One of the perks of staying here is the easy access to green spaces, Cherry Creek Shopping center, grocery stores, and local eats.
If you are headed Downtown, we recommend stopping by Union Station, which has been reimagined as a cultural hub with cafes, art, and shopping. From Union Station, Coors Field is within walking distance to the North, while Ball Arena (Nuggets and Avalanche) is to the South. Trendy Larimer Street is also nearby. The 16th Street Mall offers a free shuttle, which is the best way to get to the Denver Performing Arts Center as well as the State Capitol and Denver Mint.
It’s a short Uber ride to City Park, Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, the Botanical Gardens, and other attractions. The new Meow Wolf art experience is worth checking out, as are the Denver Aquarium and Elitch Gardens. All three are near Empower Field and the REI Flagship store.
Here for a concert? Red Rocks is a mere 30 minutes away by car. You may want to check out this area regardless of your itinerary – it’s a unique place, and its gateway town of Morrison is charming. Link up an easygoing riverside hike at Lair O’ The Bear or an afternoon paddle boarding or skating in Evergreen to make a day of it. Further south, you’ll find Roxborough State Park (40 minutes) for more hiking trails. One of Colorado’s main draws is Rocky Mountain National Park, which makes for a great day trip. Drive 1.5 hours through a dramatic canyon for a day of hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing.
Depending on your destination, skiing is 1-3 hours away. Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder), or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience. We’re also within a few hours of Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and other snowy delights. There is a Nordic center near Breck if you want to try out cross-country skiing, and the summer months are a great time to rent a kayak to explore Dillon Reservoir.
In short, this is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the best of Denver and the Rockies! It’s impossible to see everything in one visit, so we look forward to hosting you again after you fall in love with Mile High Life!
Getting Around:
Denver is a highly walkable city. In addition to Washington Virginia Vale, nearby Cherry Creek, Lowry, Glendale, Washington Park, and LoDo (Lower Downtown) are excellent choices for strolling. Prefer to do your exploring on two wheels? Grab a B-Cycle and get pedaling! For those without a car, we recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft.
There is plenty of free street parking nearby. If you park on any street around Denver – especially Downtown! – street sweeping regulations are posted and strictly enforced, so follow the rules to avoid getting a ticket.
If you brought a car, you can get around with no problems. Leetsdale Dr to Colorado Blvd is the easiest way to get Downtown. I-25 is the main North-South artery for the Denver area. I-70 West will take you into the mountains and straight to the ski areas, while I-70 East intersects with I-25 to access Fort Collins to the North and Colorado Springs to the South. The 36 takes you to Boulder and eventually the Rocky Mountain National Park gateway towns of Lyons and Estes Park. Get exploring!
Other Things to Note:
This is a non-smoking, non-vaping home! We appreciate that some of our guests may wish to indulge in some of Colorado’s herbal offerings, but this is not the place. An odor fee will be added to your reservation if this policy is violated. Thank you in advance for your compliance.
No pets, parties, or overnight guests who are not on the reservation.
Amenities include self-check-in, a fully stocked kitchen, coffee, fast Wi-Fi, and Smart TV with streaming services.
This listing is operated by Highline Management, a team of local experts dedicated to an exceptional guest experience. Professional cleaning, CDC-compliant disinfection, and hotel-quality laundry service are just a few distinguishing features of every Highline turnover. Book with confidence!
