About this property
The Capannone, a one BR country cottage. Perfect getaway.
Peaceful, private and picturesque, one of two on five acres of land. Set in the very small hamlet of Basalt just outside of Daylesford/Hepburn Springs, with it's rolling hills and country quiet. The perfect getaway for a romantic weekend or time out from a busy life. Wake up to bird calls and maybe grazing kangaroos or have a wine or coffee and enjoy the stars before slipping off to sleep. All equipment required for a stay-in break is available as well as the basic salt, pepper and milk for your coffee or tea. Also an assortment of dvd's for your entertainment. Connectivity at The Capannone is not the greatest so it truly is a switch off venue. The Capannone's close proximity to the boutique towns of Daylesford and Hepburn Springs and all they have to offer as far as gastronomic experiences with restaurants, wineries and markets and also the health and wellness tradition, extends a host of alternative activities and award wining dining and wine experiences. Also, further afield the historic Goldfields area is on your doorstep to explore.

Excellent place to stay for complete R&R fully self contained, clean & comfortable. Outside area is a great place for breakfast listening to the orchestra of birds. Extremely good host close by if needed & not sighted if not needed.

Absolute pleasure Daniel, you are welcome anytime.
We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything we could possibly needed we had, and were even treated to a view of many grazing kangaroos outside the window in the morning.
