Great family vacation home

This rental property is a fantastic choice for families! With spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area, it provides all the comforts of home. The pool and outdoor space is perfect for family gatherings and the corn hole activity is an added bonus. The location is also ideal, with nearby parks, pickle ball and tennis courts and many restaurants and shops. Whether you're enjoying a relaxing evening inside or exploring the area, this property is a wonderful base for a memorable family vacation. Highly recommended!

Sail Away a Charming Special Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Sail Away! The house is exactly as described and more. Perfectly located with easy access to the North and South end of the island it made it easy to get around by car or golf cart. The home is big and spacious and the outdoor pool and grilling area makes it a perfect spot for families especially with little ones to relax, grill out and entertain. The main and upper levels offer two family's a nice arrangement to share the home nicely. Beds are big and comfortable and bathrooms also a nice size compliment multiple guests staying in the home. The property management was a pleasure to work with and communicated nicely throughout our planning and visit. Would definitely stay there again! Island is a fun place for families with fun shops to visit and places of all dining interests to eat. Thank you Sail Away!

Beautiful home

This home is beautifully appointed and about a 12 minute walk from the beach. It is close to several restaurants in Holmes Beach. We rented a golf cart and drove to and from the beach and it only took about 5 minutes. It was a great beach week!

Island getaway

Overall, we had an amazing experience. Due to early arrival and no guests the day prior, we were able to check in 2 hours early. House was perfect for us. Great location with being only a 4 min walk from the beach. We rented a golf cart for the week and it was great to get around the island. Only issue was A broken ceiling fan and the pool being slightly cooler than expected, however, both of these issues were fixed within hours of calling property manager. Would definitely rent this house again.

It was fine…

Second time staying in this area of the island. The area is great and a short walk from the beach. The house was plenty big enough for 4 adults and 4 older kids. The beds were ok, but the pillows need to be replaced. The upstairs air conditioning would auto set to 80* during the day (which we understand because of the risk of it freezing up), but it made it horribly hot up there! The pool would be nice for a family with smaller kids or a couple, but much too small for 4 adults and 4 teenagers (approx 10x20ft). The house itself was very clean, but there is black mold in the front loading washer. Again, understand that front loaders are prone to this, but still gross! It was nice that there was plenty of outside seating for everyone and there were pool floats and beach chairs available to use. Overall, the house served its purpose but we would not stay her again.

Wonderful Week at Sail Away August 6-13, 2024

We absolutely loved our week at Sail Away! The house was very spacious and clean. There was plenty of room for our party of eight adults. It was exactly as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked. The outside space was tropical and so pretty. We loved all of the outside seating, bar, and TV. The pool was nice and so clean with 8 lounge chairs and two Adirondack chairs. A previous review stated the pool was too small for eight people. We thought it was the perfect size. However, the pool temperature was very warm, especially for August. I think the pool heater was running the entire time, which really isn't necessary in August. There were pool floats and all of the gear you need for the beach (6 chairs, 2 umbrellas, a small cooler plus a slightly larger styrofoam cooler, 8 beach towels, and a beach buggy). Just a short 8 minute walk to the beach. Communication with the property manager was fantastic! Thank you to Mike for being so awesome!! One thing the house could use is more plastic hangers in the closets and a small dorm like fridge in the bar area. Overall, the house was fantastic and we had a wonderful time! Anna Maria Island is beautiful. It was our first time here and it won't be our last. When we come back we will rent this house again!
