Private suite located on the garden side of our home

Trailside Villa Suite is located in an upscale area in our City of Duncan BC Canada. Our suite is private , with a key lock entry. You will not share the space with anyone else. We have approx 400 sq. Ft. of living space for the unit. There is a private bedroom with a queen bed and also a double sofa bed in the sitting room. The quests are happy with the 4 piece bathroom , as some like to soak in the tub at the end of a big day. The little kitchen area has all the essentials for a microwave meal, coffee, tea, toast etc. The suite is on the garden side of our home where you will enjoy our pond , bushes and flowers as well as your private outside deck which is very peaceful . We are close to the hospital, grocery stores, laundry mat, restaurants and pubs. Duncan is situated between Victoria BC and Nanaimo BC , and is therefore a perfect destination for all your day trips and sight seeing adventures. Have fun touring Vancouver Island.

This is a lovely one bedroom apartment located in a quiet subdivision of Duncan. Minutes from the downtown area and close to the road leading to Cowichan Lake. The gardens are beautiful. The apartment is equipped with everything you want for a short stay, Keurig, milk, sugar, etc. the host was quick to respond to all our questions. Hard to ask for anything better from a host or home.

Berta and Ken could not have been better hosts, and I'm a fairly high-needs guest! Loved the whole place.One night the neighbours directly facing my suite, who were sometimes quite loud in the day, had a loud, long , late party inside, which included shrieks and raucous laughter bursting out their windows. I am highly sensitive to noise, so I just went inside and enjoyed myself in my lovely place.And Ken, thanks again for your delicious fresh produce!!! You were both SO kind to me.

Clean, quiet and well appointed. We loved sitting on our little deck in the garden having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine to unwind at the end of the day. It was perfect and we will be back!

Very comfortable suite, quiet and clean.It had everything we were looking for ; very comfy bed, living area with tv. We spent so much time exploring the island; we didn’t cook meals there but there was a well stocked kitchen area with microwave , toaster, coffee maker, mini fridge. Absolutely stunning garden area to sit out and enjoy. Host was very easy to communicate with and was a lovely lady. Such a central area for easy access up and down the island. We’ll be back!

Lovely suite in a beautiful neighborhood! The garden and yard were stunning! The entry was private, the bed was comfy and the linens, towels and robes were lovely! A bit of upstairs noise at times and no sink in the kitchenette was a bit challenging but we made it work! Definitely loved having a beautiful spot to land after being out enjoying the beauty of the Cowichan Valley.
