Korean Cultural Traditional Property, 5 mins to famous lake Wiyang-jee
This is a Korean traditional house, hanok, built in the mid-19th century. It is the oldest house in the clan village of Yeoju Yi Clan in Toero village where hanoks are densly packed.
The name of the historic house "Seoun" came from the penname of Yi Tae-hyeong (1895-1973) who moved to this house in 1936 to care for his parents.
Next to the house you can see other heritage houses in the Toero village.
Near the house, you can enjoy a lake and mountain view and also Korean restaurants serving Bulgogi and Bibim-bab in 3 mins distance from the house on foot.

1. This traditional house is a precious place with cultural meaning of 19-th centuray and long family stories. Meanwhile, the interior of the house, including the bathroom and kitchen, was recently remodeled and equipped with modern facilities to minimize inconvenience.
2. You can enjoy the privilege of experiencing a sound sleep in a traditional ondol room.
3. You will love the very quiet and clean village environment and the laid-back countryside atmosphere of the village where we are located.
4. You will love the natural scenery of the mountains and lakes surrounding the town.
5. You can visit the Wiyangji Lake, a famous tourist attraction nearby, in a 5-minute drive away.
