Places of interest

The Magnificent Mile (3.0 miles) Be ready to walk and window shop until you drop! There are many high end stores in this area as well as regular stores. Some of the actual buildings are unique to just look at. This area is very well kept and a great place to see and visit even if you don't plan on buying anything.

Millennium Park (3.3 miles) If you are in Chicago this is a must. Come during spring, summer or early fall. Of course summer is the best season to enjoy this amazing city. At this park you can also enjoy free concerts.

360 Chicago Observation Deck (3.4miles) A delightful experience. The view of Chicago is awesome from all sides of this building. The 94 flight elevator ride is unbelievably quick. You will really enjoy the views!

Wrigley Field (3.6 miles) I can't imagine visiting Chicago and not seeing the Cubs at this historic ballpark. Plus a great neighborhood vibe too!

DePaul University (3.9 Miles) An amazing world class institution.

The Art Institute of Chicago (4.0 miles) Outstanding building with a great display of collections. You could easily spend a whole day enjoying it.

Cloud Gate (4.0miles) Worth while to visit, if only to experience. Good photo opportunities. Go early in the day as there are less people in the way.

The Field Museum (4.9 miles) A great museum for teens and adults. Tons of exhibits to go through and very intriguing material to both read and view.

Northwestern University (16.0 Miles) One of the best medical schools in the country.

Great host - Great place - Great neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

Annie responded quickly as you'd hope a good host would. We really appreciated how easy it was to check in, how well-stocked the house was when we arrived, it's a bummer to have to go out to the store upon arrival, so we were thankful to be able to start our vacation immediately. The bedrooms are comfortable, with great sheets and blankets and plenty of space too. Everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived. The place is beautiful, well-appointed and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable layout for our large group. We had a fantastic trip: fun, memorable, and most of all, comfortable, thanks to Annie and her beautiful house. We would love to stay with her again next time we are in town!

Wonderful place for our big group

  • 5 of 5

The space was clean and I liked the organization. As a group of students traveling to Chicago for a conference, we needed a good place to crash that was easily accessible from the conference location and this place was just that, next to many wonderful restaurants and night life. There is much to do in the Wicker Park neighborhood. Chase was a great host who responded quickly to every question we had! Great experience overall.

Annie and Chase have a spectacular Penthouse!

  • 5 of 5

It is centrally located in Old Town and Lincoln Park. The apartment is incredibly spacious and looks just like the pictures show. The bathrooms were completely updated with new amenities. Would absolutely stay again and recommend. In addition I made a mistake by arriving at the apartment a couple hours early and they were able to accommodate and rush their cleaning people.

This house is unbeatable for a large group

  • 5 of 5

Annie was an outstanding host! Her home is exactly how it appears in the listing, if not better in person. It is clean, spacious and great for groups who want to have space to hang together. She was extremely helpful and was always readily available to assist us when needed. I would definitely recommend Annie and this beautiful house! We had a great weekend!

Still under construction and missing some basics..

  • 3 of 5

We stayed at this house during a trade show we attended downtown with 6 of us from my company. The house was very spacious and the king beds were very comfortable, but the upstairs room was very hot and there was no fan to be found and I even asked and got no response, I even asked if there was a iron and ironing board and heard nothing back as well. If you are looking for a place to sleep a lot of people this will do the trick but plan on bringing your own essentials and making a few trips to the local supermarket.

Owner's Response: We enjoyed your stay a lot Mike, your business colleagues were great too and we really hope to have you back in our place soon. Regarding your comment about the fan and the iron this is a clear sample of a guest who didn't read the House Manual. Our property manager replied to your requests quickly but it seems you didn't find them. We didn't get another call or message from you so we figured out everything was ok. To future guests if you don't understand things in the house or you have any issue, please don't hesitate to contact our staff, we will be more than happy to hep. Also, please check out the dozens of 5 star reviews from guests who have stayed in our gorgeous house!

This place was perfect for a fun girls weekend!

  • 5 of 5

The location was awesome, once we parked when we arrived we never moved our cars until we left, everything we needed was in walking distance. We had a blast staying here. Check in was the easiest I've ever experienced on VRBO and Chase was very quick to respond with any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again!
