This little gem is the perfect place for a couple or small family to stay while holidaying in beautiful Taupo. The Voyager Apartments sit only 100 metres from the lake, and less than 1km from town centre. You can easily walk to the waters edge, and to abundance of restaurants, cafe's, Sunday market, mini-golf and so much more.

The Voyager Apartment complex boasts a heated swimming pool for guests of the complex, and 1 free parking space allocated for you.

The apartment features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - one with a private spa bath for you to soak in at the end of a busy day exploring our wonderful town!

Bedding configuration is:
1 x Super-King bed
2 x Single beds
1 x Sofa bed
If you require the sofa bedding, please let us know when booking.

Sit out on the balcony with your morning coffee, or walk along the lakefront and find a good spot in town for breakfast. The nearest spot for dinner or a drink (or to watch Sport) is Jolly Good Fellows Restaurant & Bar - which is only 3 minutes on foot! Lake Bistro Bar & Restaurant is only 600 metres from your apartment. You really can not beat the location.

The heatpump/air-conditioning will keep you comfortable all year round. Wifi included. All bedding and towels are provided for you - this includes pool towels.

We allow a maximum of 4 guests.
This property is STRICTLY not suitable for any loud groups of any kind. Noise must be kept to a minimum after 9pm out of respect for the other guests in the complex.

Exit clean and linen is included in your nightly rate, however the apartment must be left tidy. All dishes must be washed, dried and put away before departure. All rubbish must be neatly bagged, and all recycling must be sorted into the correct bins.

No smoking, no vaping and pets by negotiation.

Taupo Stay

Our overall stay at this property was good. It was a great location as handy to town etc so we could basically walk to where we wanted to go. The apartment is all we needed as there were only 2 of us. The only thing we would say is that they have got the location of the apartment wrong on their instructions for arrival. It definitely isn't on the right when you drive in. It is on the left and has the number 1 on the door.

Taupo stay

Good location, beds were comfortable and generally a good place to stay. However the property needs some minor repairs like the front door jams when opening it, the shower door didn’t close properly so the water leaked out, which my husband fixed so we could keep using it, the upstairs tv did not work. To add when looking in any direction in the lounge area there was multiple notices on the wall telling the guests what they should do or cant do. In order to keep the property in good condition. This information could be just put in the booklet for the stay rather than all over the walls. Because it’s not very homely with these messages are everywhere.

Disappointed

Living area really small. Kitchen tap hard to work got a shower when you turned it on. Main bedroom upstairs. Stairs were narrow and steep. Door to bathroom did not close had been hung incorrectly. The bed was very comfortable. Gave wrong directions on where unit was in complex when i rung the help number went to answer phone. Unit was on the left not the right as stated. The apartment was very clean but not comfortable. The swimming pool had a not very clean cover on it we could not take off so useable.

Thank you for your review. We're so pleased that you found the apartment to be very clean, and the bed comfortable. We're quite surprised to see a 1 star review. Yes, there was a mistake on our part in the access information stating that the apartment was on the right - when it was on the left. Human error, but thankfully the apartments are very clearly numbered, and as they are very close together you would have spotted the right apartment very quickly. We don't feel that this warranted the rude text message that you sent to our staff member. The listing clearly states that the apartment is little, and is therefore suitable for a couple or a small family. Sorry if you missed this. We will have our maintenance team have a look at the bathroom door and kitchen tap. We're sorry that the apartment didn't suit your expectations, however we do feel that most of the issues were very minor, and above all we are pleased that you appreciated the cleanliness, and comfortable nights sleep.
