Tata Beach - Best of both worlds

This is our family's favourite holiday spot and we have been visiting Tata Beach for many years. It is our "place of all places" and we look forward to sharing this with you.

Welcome to your private, self-contained studio apartment, located just across the road from the magical golden sands of beautiful Tata Beach, and backing on to a tidal lagoon.

The apartment situated on the ground level with a private entrance, is ideal for a couple or family.

The main bedroom has a queen bed, as well as a single bed with a trundler underneath – suitable for small children. The second bedroom (accessed through the main and separated by curtains) has two sets of single bunks, all with clean linen and bedding.

The compact living area with TV, opens out to a sheltered courtyard, where you can enjoy dining and socialising.

The kitchenette is equipped for six guests and includes a combination microwave, fridge/freezer, grill, convection oven (no conventional oven), double hotplates, and Baby Weber BBQ. There is a separate bathroom and the toilet is in the laundry, shared by both units. Off street parking is available and a large back lawn for children to romp and kick a ball.

In the true spirit of an authentic Kiwi holiday, you may decide to stroll down for a swim, take the kayaks out, or try your hand at fishing in the Bay. Perhaps you would like to explore the spectacular landscape and walk some amazing native bush trails such as the Wainui Falls or Te Waikoropupā Springs. The iconic Abel Tasman National Park is right on our doorstep and tramps along part of the track from Wainui are a popular day trip. Farewell Spit is also an important tourist attraction. You might choose to visit the local cafes, arts and crafts shops and markets or wander through Takaka or Collingwood. Alternatively, you may prefer to just rest, relax, read and reenergise in the peace and quiet of your cosy, recently renovated hideaway studio.

The upstairs of our property is also available to rent in addition to downstairs on a case-by-case basis and offers a fully equipped 3 bedroom home (all queen size). Please contact us for more information and to enquire about dates.
