About the host
Hosted by Linden O'Toole
I have lived in a remote Alaskan fishing community for 40 years, and now split my time between there and Sedona. I love to hike and I am also very familiar with the dining options in Sedona, and will be happy to share ideas and insights about your hiking and eating opportunities during your visit. I have a non-shedding dog named Happy, who is well behaved and very happy to greet you if you like dogs.
Why they chose this property
This is one of the best neighborhoods in Sedona. Most of the homes are valued at over a million dollars, and are well cared for and quiet. The stars are visible and there is little traffic up here, yet we are within walking distance of the 'Uptown' shops and restaurants. As you can see from the photos, the views in upper uptown are spectacular.
What makes this property unique
The world-class views of the red rocks are of course the greatest asset!
I have worked for 7 years to create 'vegetative privacy' which has created a plant-screened place for reveries and quiet moments with our Maker on my decks and patios. There are tall plants screening you from the main house and the neighbors and roads; no powerlines in sight.
The house is quiet yet close to trails and shops and restaurants.
We have a lovely experience of the stars, as Sedona is a 'dark sky' community and consciously limits light pollution.
You can enjoy the morning sun rising into your bed and the evening light turning the red rocks to magic, all from inside and on the private or shared patios.
