Adequate stay but a little rough around the edges

The house met our needs of a place to rest. The house is in rough shape. Most towel racks are missing, holes in walls blinds broken. Found hair ties and earrings behind bathroom door. Please watch out for eye level placement of shelving in kitchen and bedroom. Coffee machine but no coffee available.

Has potential but was hoping for more

The original posting had listed a hot tub as an amenity which is why we booked this place. Check in was easy and there was lots of space to accommodate our family. When we arrived, it had freshly snowed and there was no shovel to remove the snow available and the stairs were very slippery The place was not cleaned very well as there was all sorts of garbage, toys, and other things left under couches and beds or beside them on the floor. There was a white powder residue on the front corner of the counter in the ensuite of the main bedroom as well. The owner also had an Amazon package arrive during our stay which made us a little wary. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. Kids said the others were as well. The massive couch in the living room was also very comfortable and accomodated us all. The kitchen chairs were not so comfortable to sit in very long which was difficult for us considering we play crib and we spent a lot time at the table.

DO NOT RENT!!

We arrived shortly before 5 pm and left by 6 pm same evening because it was so gross. Realed like garbage, had garbage all over the deck, advertised a Hot tub and didnt have it. Clumps of hair still on the carpet from someone, blinds were broken and dirty, fridge had egg shells caked into the crisper drawer food stains and left over rotting food in top tray of fridge. Light above the table was coming off the ceiling exposed wires, light switches looked broken and sketchy, and mouldy musty smell in the basement Contacted the owner about it and they ghosted me until VRBO got a hold of them and then they finally responded. Had to rent a whole new place for 6 of us to stay short notice. Have pictures to confirm it was disgusting as well. Owner now also wont refund the money despite us not staying there. Terrible place and terrible host. Cant belive the VRBO lets people like this rent out their place and then to top it off wont support their customers. Very disappointed in the entire experience!
