Lakeview Lodge beside Payne Lake & close to Waterton Lakes National Park

Located next to Payne Lake Provincial campground and 20 minutes from Waterton Lakes National Park you are next to many recreational and sightseeing opportunities. The house is nestled perfectly between the mountains and the prairie, and has a spectacular view of Old Chief Mountain. The interior has been updated and sleeps 8 people. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.


Essentials of the house: No A/C but fans available for use. Firepit (bring your own wood), BBQ(propane tank provided), picnic table, and kids swings available for your outside enjoyment. The downstairs family room TV has an Amazon Firestick so you will need an Amazon prime account to login and take advantage of Netflix, Disney and other streaming apps. Otherwise a large assortment of DVDs are available. There is a desk and chair tucked into a corner downstairs(next to the TV area) if you are bringing work along with wifi. Lake towels available if you venture down to Payne Lake for a cool dip. Popcorn, water cooler and coffee station provided for guest enjoyment. Please note you are free to use the washing machine and dryer but warning we have hard water and sometimes iron stains can occur. High chair and pack n play crib available for use upon request.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful views of the mountains from sunrise to sunset. The views of the stars at night also can’t be beat! Fully equipped kitchen with farm fresh eggs stocked in the kitchen too! Comfortable beds and couches. Great location for going to Waterton each day as well. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Angela’s home was so comfortable, well equipped and located out in the country. Very close to Waterton Lakes International Peace Park. Angela was extremely responsive and went above and beyond! We would stay there again!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The host Angela has been great with communication and extremely friendly and accommodating. The basket of treats was a lovely added touch to our stay. The property was very clean and well equipped with all the essentials needed for cooking etc. The basement was a great area for the kids to play and chill out with and abundance of toys and games to play with as well as TV and dvd for movies. The location is perfect and very peaceful but close enough to Waterton town also. We really enjoyed fishing and paddle boarding at Payne lake which is a 2 minute drive from the property. We would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay near Waterton and we will definitely be staying there again next year.

We all had an excellent stay. Beautiful view, only 20 minutes to Waterton. The house was perfect and very clean. We would stay again when in the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our holiday stay at this rental home. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail throughout the property.The home was exactly as described – spacious, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Some said : "there are no place like home".But it's not true with "Lakeview Lodge beside Payne Lake...". As soon you pass the door, you will feel like already being there or being there for ever. Perfect place, clean, full equip, peacefull, montain view, close to the Waterton Park. Even more, the hosts are exceptionnals. They give us advices long time before we arrrived and during our stay. Treats were waiting for our kids on the table, they put huge smile in there faces.

Wonderful Home with Mountain Views

Wow! Angela’s home was truly perfect for our family. The location was so peaceful and beautiful from every angle. We were just a short drive from Waterton Lakes NP, where we spent most of our time. Angela was the absolute best host. The house had everything we could possibly need and more. She was so quick to respond to our needs/questions and went above and beyond to help us anyway she could. I only wish we would have stayed longer!

Lodging near Waterton Lakes

Angela’s home was a great location for exploring Waterton Lakes National Park. The property is on a ranch where the prairies meet the mountains and as one looks to the west, you see the front range of Waterton and Glacier national Parks. Angela’s home was very clean and extremely well stocked. We didn’t do much cooking, but certainly could have with a generous supply of kitchen pots and pans and utensils as well as a fully stocked spice cabinet! Angela greeted us personally and was very welcoming. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This house is well set up and stocked for cooking. It is cozy for relaxing after a long hike and 2 minutes from a lake that felt great to jump in after a long hot day. The hosts are very personable and friendly.

Great house and property near Waterton

Perfect spot for my family of seven. Spacious, clean, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of indoor and outdoor kids toys. Outstanding property and location. Hosts were very nice and welcoming.
