Our stay at the House of Delonica was exceptional! The home was spotless and beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully prepared for guests. The location couldn’t have been better—close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. We especially loved spending time on the balcony, enjoying the beautiful view each morning and evening. A truly great place to stay—highly recommend!

Exceptional Stay with Gorgeous Views
Beautiful home with a gorgeous waterfall view out back. Exceptionally well-appointed with everything we needed. The host was great with communication, and it was the perfect spot for friends to gather and relax. Highly recommend!

Great views
Very clean and very spacious. Just did a quick get away with the family and had a blast! Beautiful views from about every room. The house was very clean and was very well equipped! The location was perfect for us, we will definitely rent this again! Oh and so important to me was that the beds were comfortable! That’s always a plus!

Myself and 9 friends got this place for our friends wedding nearby, the view is so breathtaking and the house fit us all perfectly for our stay. The host was so accommodating for changing our check in time so we would have time to get ready and he was so quick to respond to my emails and texts, it was very refreshing and stress free. I would absolutely rent from them again!

Girls weekend
From the moment that you drive up to this house, you know that you found a great place! Then you walk in to a very clean well decorated home with a ton of bedrooms. If that’s not enough, just walk out to the deck! Mind blown! Gorgeous view of the creek/river! Have to mention that the owner of this house was so attentive and even followed up on how our visit was. Will definitely be booking this house again!

Breathtaking
If you are looking for a place to stay with lots of rooms, cozy feel with breathtaking views, then this would be the place to go! Perfectly nestled close to restaurants, shopping, wineries. It absolutely did not disappoint – the photographs are a true depiction of what you could expect. The most important part is the communication with the Property Manager. Should you have any queries, need suggestions she responds immediately. And the icing was the warm welcome. Should we be in the Dahlonega area this would absolutely be our go to!

Perfect family vacation
This home in Dahlonega was the perfect place to stay for our two families, which comprised of four adults and five kids. It was so lovely to sit and admire the beautiful river view and hear the water crashing, and there were so many seating options to choose from, including the two balconies and fire pit area. It was a bit cold for us, but in warmer weather, I can imagine dining outdoors as well.The rustic cabin decor added to the home’s charm, while the house had all the modern amenities we needed to help us feel comfortable. The kitchen was amply stocked for all of our easy meal needs. The location was great, an easy 15 minute drive into downtown Dahlonega and not far from everywhere we wanted to go with the kids. We even took a 30-minute drive to Helen. We had such a wonderful time, we would love to come back and if we do we’ll define stay in this home!

It's Everything You Hope It Will Be And More!
Words like ‘breathtaking, stunning, and unbelievable’ are used far too often in reviews — but in this case, they genuinely capture the magic of this spectacular home.My friends and I spent Labor Day weekend here, and it exceeded every expectation. The rushing sound of the Chestatee River and Grindle Falls became our soundtrack for the weekend. With five bedrooms and multiple living areas, our group had plenty of space to play, relax, or find solitude.Whether watching the sun come up or set from the balcony, we spent nearly every moment outside soaking in the spectacular view. The fire pit was the perfect spot to unwind in the evening and let the river lull us into total relaxation.Frankly, with views like that, the home could have been less than perfect and we would have still been over the moon. Not the case!! It is absolutely lovely from top to bottom with such attention to detail, you'll feel spoiled from the moment you arrive. From the fully stocked kitchens on both levels, comfy bedrooms, luxury furnishings, and cozy fireplace — when you do finally pull yourself away from the porch, you'll love the warmth and charm of the space.Plus, jumping over to downtown Dahlonega, visiting wineries, or exploring trails was all within minutes. The location strikes the perfect balance between natural serenity and active outings. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to wrap up summer — already planning our next trip!

From the owner: "We were surprised to see a 1-star rating, especially since no comments were provided to explain your experience. While you did not stay for the full duration of your reservation, we noted that all the lights were left on, the thermostats were set to inefficient levels, and a spare key was missing, which required us to change the locks to ensure the safety of future guests. You also initiated a chargeback despite the property being occupied, and we’ve provided video evidence to refute the claims made. In addition, we were concerned by the unsubstantiated negative statements about the condition of the home, which appeared to be an attempt to discredit the property and reverse the charges.We want to clarify that we remotely unlocked the door for you multiple times, but it was immediately relocked each time. We also directed you to a hidden key, which you stated did not work. Interestingly, when a neighbor walked over to assist, you were suddenly able to open the door as he approached. During a phone conversation, you also shared that your other eight guests would no longer be joining, and that your son had rented a different home in the area.We always strive to offer a respectful and enjoyable experience to all our guests and take any claims seriously, especially when they affect future stays and the integrity of the hosting process."
