The location of this condo is truly fantastic, but the unit itself needs updates and better maintenance.Positives:The best beaches on Maui are within easy walking distance, which was the biggest highlight of our stay. The grounds around the condo complex are beautiful and well-maintained. The unit is a good size for a one-bedroom, and the pullout bed was reasonably comfortable. We also appreciated that the condo had a good assortment of beach equipment available for guests to borrow (this should be added to the listing).Negatives:Unfortunately, the condo's interior feels a bit run-down, and a few important items were broken during our stay, including the shower head, the blinds, and the freezer.The living room rug was so dirty that we rolled it up and put it away. The tile floors need regrouting, the baseboards are beat up, and the walls and trim could really use a fresh coat of paint. The toilet has a very weak flush, and a plunger is sitting next to it. The furniture is somewhat dirty and sparse, and the unit could also use a deep cleaning in spots like the window sills, floors, and refrigerator hinge.Summary:If you prioritize location above all else, this condo could be a good fit. However, if you have high expectations for interior design and cleanliness, this probably isn't your spot unless improvements are made.
