Great Beach House!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is incredible and so clean, and it's just a short walk from the beach. Working with the management company was a breeze and the perks offered through Vacation Homes of Hilton Head were wonderful. We'll be back!

Wonderful stay

The home is beautiful and the location was great. The home provided just the right amount of rooms/space for our family and everyone was very comfortable for our stay. We loved riding bikes to the beach each day and enjoyed the natural setting of the neighborhood. The park across the street is an added bonus with trails, fields, and playground.

Beauty and Bugs

This property is a wonderful option for flare families or groups of friends. It would be a solid 5 if we were able to use the pool with being eaten alive by mosquitoes. Otherwise, a great place, location and beach!!

So Comfortable and amazing vacation spot

Our week here, quickly became a discussion of a annual place to retreat to. The owners were quick to respond with detailed information, professional communication, and the accommodations were perfect. For our family, with little ones, this was the perfect space for everyone to have a comfortable room, plenty of common space, and so close to the beach. We loved the pool area, and the convenience of the location to all the stores, shops and the fact that it is a quick beautiful walk to the ocean without the higher cost that oceanfront brings. We will be returning and have recommended this spot to multiple other families for future vacations.

Great location!! Enjoyed our stay.

We arrived to a very clean, comfortable and spacious home. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans coffee makers etc. all the bedrooms and bathrooms spacious. Outdoor living space by the pool could not enjoy due to mosquitoes. We enjoyed the access to the park across the street. Busy weekend for beach access, parking was challenging. Vacation Homes was extremely helpful and responsive!!!

A very nice property with all the amenities we expected. Convenient location and a pleasant walk to both the park and beach. A very good state of condition and cleanliness throughout the home, much better than other rental properties we've used. Made our initial set up before the rest of the family arrived much easier. One thing to be aware of is the mosquitos are plentiful, and they really congregate at the door leading down to the patio/pool area. Open the door, and into the house they come. Would be great if you could figure out some remedy to this. Probably draining/treating/aerating the small retention pond in the back would help.

50th Anniversary Trip

We stayed here over the 4th of July week to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. So, there was my family of 4 l, my brother’s family of 5 and parents. The house was just the size we needed to accommodate 5 teenage boys that are 6 ft to 6’5. The outdoor lower level space was perfect. The pool is small, but a great cool off after time at the beach. Which I think is the purpose😁 My only drawback is the location is not near Coligny and other restaurants. However, I would stay here again. Loved the shuttle service to and from beach; definite plus.

Christmas stay

We had some plumbing issues. Two of the showers didn’t drain and a toilet didn’t work. Luckily the house has a lot of bathrooms. Other than those minor inconveniences, we had a great time. We really enjoyed all the outdoor space and the short walk to the beach.

The house is well laid out for a large group to spend quality time together and still have space for solitude. My only caution is that the pool is much smaller than it appears in the pictures and though we visited off season, the outdoor space is a bit dingy. Access to walking trails and the beach was wonderful!

Awesome !

This house is incredible. So much space. The pool was perfect and shallow enough that my 7 year olds could stand. Dog park directly across the street! House was close to Singleton Beach which wasn’t as busy. We were able to social distance safely. Pool area has a shower, outside shower, and a fridge, with interior stairs to the kitchen. You will need bikes or u can use the beach shuttle (golf cart). No public beach parking which is a plus!!! Short drive to Shelter Cove and grocery stores.

Amazing location and house!

Loved the location. The beach was only a short 2 minute ride. There was a dog park about a 5 minute walk and a children's park about a 10 minute walk or 2 minute ride. The only thing I was not a fan of was no easy way to put up a safety gate to keep the little kids from going downstairs. I worried that they would get down the stairs and into the pool without us noticing. The rug at the bottom of the main stairs slid alot and I worry in the future that an older rperson might fall. Other then that the house was perfect.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect sized house in awesome location. Only negative would be the cleaning was not what I would expect for a luxurious beach home. Dirty floors, cabinets, windows, and a lot of cobwebs. The back patio with the pool really could use a good clean/ update. We also encountered some bugs and dirty sheets. If the cleaning could get a huge upgrade we would come back again without hesitation!

Great stay on HHI!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family group of 12 people and 1 pooch had a wonderful stay at 5 Henry Lane. The home was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. The well stocked kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for the week. This home is located in a quiet, shady neighborhood across the street from Chaplin Park which has a wonderful dog park and playground facilities. Singleton Beach is 1/2 mile away, perfect for evening walks. The shuttle service was great for daytime beach excursions with lots of stuff. The downstairs area by the pool is perfect for hanging out with comfy seating, a second full size fridge and full bath.The only suggestion I have is the addition of some type of high flip latch on the inside of the keypad doors. Both of these doors open directly onto stairways and the lever type handles are very easy to operate for the youngest toddlers, as our 2-year-old showed us on day one. This easy addition would make this great home a safer stay for your youngest guests. Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable week!
