El Capricho - Er et dejligt hjem, smagfuldt indrettet til en høj standard. Indkvarteringen består af et rummeligt ottekantet soveværelse med udsigt over Middelhavet. Dette soveværelse har eget badeværelse. Ned ad en trappe til 2 x dobbeltværelser, der deler et badeværelse (badekar med hovedbruser) og det andet soveværelse med dobbeltseng, der også har et eget badeværelse (badekar + brusebad). Disse 3 soveværelser har direkte adgang til poolområdet.
Der er et veludstyret køkken med ovn, induktionsplade, mikroovn, to køleskab / fryser, opvaskemaskine osv. Og en vaskemaskine og strygejern / bræt i et separat vaskerum. Det har også et fladskærms-tv med mange internationale kanaler, DVD-afspiller og en I-pod-dockingstation med radio. Fibernetværk med wifi.

We, 4 adult couples, rented this house to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday - and we had a fantastic time! The location is super, with some nice restaurants nearby and only a 6-7 min cheap Uber ride to the bars and restaurants in Fuengirola. Sure, there are some easy fixes to get this house back to its glory days, but overall it’s very nice. Highly recommend buying some pool toys from the small local supermarket just down the hill (they will help blow them up for a small fee). Host Raymond has been very approachable and quick to respond and we would be happy to come back to this house in the future!

We had a lovely 7 night stay at the Villa, it had everything we needed and more. A lovely quiet area with shops, bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Very easy to get an Uber and there is a taxi rank by the shop nearby if you want to get out and about. There is a large carrefour only 10 minutes away by taxi which was good value and had a large selection of good fresh food. There is a large gas BBQ on the upper terrace which was big enough to cook for our group of 7 which we used almost everyday, it was nice and clean and cooked very nicely. The Villa has large rooms and all are air conditioned. The terrace and balcony was lovely to sit and have breakfast or dinner whilst overlooking the view and sea. The pool is a good size with a nice size pool terrace where you can relax. The beach nearby is small but nice, the better beach is it at La Cala which is a very short taxi ride. We visited the market at La Cala which I would highly recommend, it is very large with lots of good items for sale. We wandered down to La Cala seafront after for a drink and some lunch. The only negative we found was we felt the floors could have been a little cleaner inside, and some of the appliances could do with updating. Other than that a wonderful holiday and we would return

We had the most amazing holiday in this villa! It's very spacious, air conditioned and we had so much fun in the swimming pool! The owners communication was outstanding. 5* and highly recommended!

We had a great 15 night stay at this villa family of 8, aged from 8 - 76. Communication with the host was excellent, with very quick replies to any questions, and check-in/out was easy.The location is fantastic. Shops, restaurants, the beach, bus stops & taxis are all within walking distance. We didn’t hire a car as the buses are regular. The villa is very spacious, which was ideal for our large family, plenty of utensils, dishwasher, washing machine and 2 fridge freezers. The sea views are fantastic.There are some areas that could be improved. The property would benefit from a deep clean and some general TLC. The pool wasn’t cleaned as regularly as we expected and the tiles could do with a thorough clean. On arrival, the kitchen sink was dirty, and both upstairs & downstairs shower drains were blocked & needed unblocking. The beds were ok but not the most comfortable, and the bedding and towels are quite old. Spare bedding/pillowcases, a bath mat & beach towels would have been useful. The kettle is also very small & slow, so a larger one would be a good addition. There is a BBQ, we didn’t use it as it would be better positioned on the main terrace. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday & would probably stay again. It’s a lovely rustic Spanish villa in an excellent location & great views. With some cleaning, repairs, updates & TLC, it could easily be a 5-star. Given its current condition, we feel the price is a little high but it it would be worth it if improvements were made

We are a party of five adults. Communication was great from the start. The villa is spacious and the layout allows for not feeling like you're under each other's feet. The villa is dated however the kitchen has appliances that all work well and it is well equipped for cooking. The bbq worked and there was gas in the bottle. The pool was wonderful however we couldn't swim in it on day six because it was cloudy and needed more chlorine. The pool is not cleaned or checked for seven days. The air conditioning is great and all works. There were a few minor repairs needed which we emailed the owner about. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, all of them. The mattresses are springy and the pillows look like they have been on the beds for years. The towels are old and small and there were no bath mats. I would have liked to have given the villa 5 stars but the beds were just appalling and no one got any sleep! The villa is a five minute walk from a very well equipped local supermarket and the Mirrimar shopping centre in Fuengerolla is only a ten euro 4 minute drive.

Great location

We had a wonderful time here! Brilliant location central to many good places. 5 mins walk to several food venues, small shops and beach. Only critique would be baths/showers/air con etc could do with a deep clean but feel this was due to end of season. Overall very good, thank you so much for letting us to stay at your home 😊

Brilliant Holiday.

The villa is excellent in all ways. Clean, tidy with everything required for a self catering holiday, although there are so many good local restaurants that we did spoil ourselves with several nights out. Villa owner easy to contact and quick to reply. No problems here. Fully recommended.

Superb location for a spacious villa. It was well equipped and fully functional. There must have been a problem with the cleaning company because it was deficiant in the bottom part of the property.

Lovely stay at Raymond's villa as a family of 8. The property is situated in a quiet residential area and the views out to the med from the pool and terraces are fantastic. A couple of local bars, restaurants and supermarkets close by and taxis and buses to get around where aplenty. Our only minor gripe was the pool could have done with some cleaning from the middle of our stay as it stained some swimwear green. We were expecting the caretaker to come to tend to this but this never happened.BBQ area was fantastic and there was so much space for everyone to relax and enjoy.Overall, a fantastic property and would highly recommend for families.

Overall pretty happy with our holiday. Property is nice and large, plenty of room for us spread out. We appreciated the two fridge freezers, used one for drinks and one for food. Wifi was great, tv worked great also. AC worked a treat. Things that could be improved. The whole kitchen had a sticky feel to it, so my mother-in-law gave it all a deep clean, washing down all the cupboards, surfaces, crockery, utensils and pots and pans. In the bedroom I was staying in (the Africa room) down by the side of the bed and bedside table hadn't been swept or hoovered as when I retrieved a drop headphone it was nestled in a bunch of dust next to a discarded contact lens (nobody in our party wore contacts). The bedding could do with a bit of upgrading. The mattress in the Africa room, wasnt great and neather where the pillows, had to use a rolled up duvet as an extra pillow. The pool guy is supposed to come twice a week but we saw him only once. Some of the tiles where missing in the pool and there was a lair of yellow sunscreen around the edge of the tiles of the pool. There is no shower next to the pool to shower before going into the pool, so we had to go back up to the room. BBQ grill plates were filthy and rusted and could do with replacing. Over all the villa could do with we bit of love, a lick of paint here and there. It wouldn't take much to make this a 5* villa and over all we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Villa

We stayed at the Villa for 10 days and had a wonderful time. There were 6 of us with ages ranging from 6 years to 81 years old, it was spacious, comfortable & was ideal for all. The villa was very clean and well equipped. We all particularly loved the pool, the view from the villa and the 5min walk to the local beach. There was also plenty of local bars, cafes and shops to keep us stocked up. Whilst there a few of the family used the handy bus to Fuengirola market and we also visited the water park & hired a pedallo at the beach. The owner Raymond was a very helpful & friendly regarding the booking. We would highly recommend this villa.

This property could be fabulous as it’s a great size but it falls short in many areas. Pool area great but needs a good clean under shaded area. The rest of the outside areas and some indoor areas would also benefit greatly from a deep clean. Bedding and towels poor quality and curtains light and flimsy in lower bedrooms. One of the bedrooms aircon not working and took over 4 days to sort so couple in that room really struggled. Terrace area on top floor great for us all to gather and enjoy food and drinks but again not as clean as it could be. Location was great with lots of eating places close by and very handy for taxis and local bus service. Wouldn’t take much to bring this villa up to an acceptable standard and for the cost of renting for a week this hopefully will happen.

Excellent 4-week holiday in this beautiful villa August ‘25. Ample room for 8 in 3 generations aged 17-77. Space and facilities for everybody. Excellent pool, good sea view and set in a lovely area, walking distance to great local restaurants – e.g. El Patio del Faro and Colinas del Faro as well as an Italian, Chinese and Indian sampled. Villa has private parking - big plus there. Five minutes walk from a supermarket and 3 more minutes from a small cove beach with a nice bar/ sheltered tables. Sunbeds and paddle boards for rent. HUGE supermarket/ mall 7 minutes drive, Fuengirola 8-10 mins drive or taxi 10. Raymond responded quickly to queries and sorted out minor issues next day. Couldn't ask for more. He could update instructions (e.g. for new hob). TV is small but has a range of channels, Apple TV etc. Other resorts nearby, waterpark in Torremolios and Gibraltar an easy drive to meet the monkeys, etc. Book cable car in advance or take the taxi trip (1/2 price after 7pm), Visit Mijas in the mountains (easy drive) for a really excellent day out, recommend TukTuk experience. Airport 30 mins drive. We found the villa very comfortable with some things modern, some out-dated. Great barbecue. We enjoyed dining on the balcony with lovely sea-view. It was great fun watching the wild pigs go down the road each evening – they are protected. Five stars for enjoyability and value experience in this great villa. En rigtig god efterårsferie i et rigtig fint hus.

Vi havde et rigtig godt ophold i huset, hvor alt fungerede efter forventningerne. Rengøringen var i orden da vi ankom. Værten reagerede hurtig ved henvendelse. Det var dog lidt langt til strand og by. El Faro stranden var ikke god.

Autentisk spansk villa med skøn pool

Vi havde 14 fantastiske dage med familien i dette hus! Terrasserne blev brugt flittigt og der er en dejlig udsigt til havet fra den øverste terrasse ud for stue/køkkenet. Stort køkken og fint der er 2 køleskabe. Poolen er dejlig stor og det er fedt der er dybt i den ene ende af poolen. Rart der var egen parkeringsplads. Området er pænt og ligger centralt til flere strande, til Malaga, til indkøb og øvrige attraktioner. Vi var glade for, at vi havde lejet en bil til brug til nævnte steder.

The child friendly pool area is below one of the terraces and has a lovely shaded area to relax in. Enjoy an al fresco meal at the poolside barbecue, and then cool off with a dip in the pool. El Capricho is a perfect retreat for that stress free holiday. Sun loungers, garden furniture etc are all provided at different terraces around on the property. The tranquil courtyard with the sound of bubbling water from the fountain is a lovely cool quiet area to escape and have an afternoon siesta in the shade! Our family loves to have walks on the beach or if you want, its a lot of posibilities if you love the nature.

There is something for everyone on this coast - lively Fuengirola is just 6 minutes away. Our house is located only twenty minutes from the airport and only 400 mts. from the beach, supermarkets, restaurants, buses and taxis. It belongs to Mijas Costa. Its one of the most picturesque villages of Andalucia. Surrounded by many golf courses, covering all the province of Malaga. On the east side is the Port of Benalmadena. On the west is Puerto Banus and Marbella, enjoying fame and luxury. In just twenty minutes away, you will find the Marina Selwo Aquarium in Benalmadena and the Tivoli amusement park. In Fuengirola you find a Zoo and Aqua Park
