The villa is located approximately 1.5km (1 Mile) from the town centre square, if you use the main Iztuzu Road, there is a shorter route which takes you to the oppersite end of the high street , using the road Vardiya Sokak (this can be seen on Google Maps). There is also the local Dolmus (mini bus) which can be hailed anywhere along its route, goes to the beach and the town square.

For guests that are arriving at night I have always recommened that a transfer be taken with our managing agents Kaunos Villas, this is a personal transfer, the driver has the keys to the house and can show you round, the basics like light switches etc. Car hire can be arranged with Kaunos (they are the local Europcar agents) delivered to the villa where the paperwork can be completed, granted it is a little more expense then airport rental, however Kaunos do incorporate the transfer cost into the car hire which reduces the overall expense. This year nearly all the guests decided to make their way from the airport (most in the dark) and all sucessfully completed the key collection, and villa location and entry. Having checked with Kaunos, the manager Salih was not informed of an issue with an A/C unit not functioning correctly but was asked for help with the remote control functions. The villa's location is rural, for us and all our guests the biggest attraction, quite and unspoilt, however this brings other distractions, cows mooing, chickens clucking, frogs croaking, early morning call from the cockerel and the occasional sound of farmers using shot guns to kill vermin and in this case to shoot and scare off Merops (bee eating birds). Under no circumstances would there have been an issue of safety, Kaunos having been informed spoke with the gendarmeria, they checked out the situation, I can only assume that once they had concluded nothing untoward was happening, dismissed any necessity to give reassurances, to either Kaunos or guests. There is an old quote by John Lydgate which I am sure most will have heard "You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all the people all of the time" We endeavour to make the villa exactly what we would want if we arrived as guests ourselves, with many five star reviews I think we are achieving our goal.
